I love OJs from when I lived in Vancouver! Food never disappoints and our server was friendly. Food came out super quick!
Delicious lunch with my boys and the hands-down best service we have EVER had with our son, Ethan in tow. To be clear, Ethan is affected by a cognitive impairment and has communication difficulties.
Bryana is on what she says is her first shift here and she asked Ethan about his car, has remembered and addressed him by name throughout the meal and is just about as efficient and polite as a server could be. Often when we go out people don’t address Ethan at all — they ask US if he’s 19 and what he wants to drink or eat. Not this time. Well done, OJ’s — this young woman is JUST the kind of staff you need to be hiring!

We had the most amazing waitress today Anna! A buddy spilt a drink and literally one second later three waitress came to help clean up! By accident our bud gave a 350% tip and she brought it to his attention..... Nobody does that these days! She still ended up with a 100% tip on that bill because she was so responsive, nice and made our lunch. If I was your boss id double your wage because it's hard to find employs like Anna! Thanks so much Anna and crew!
My husband and I went on a date nite tonite and laura our waitress was awesome!!! Our food was fast and hot !!! We know where we will go on our date nights!!! Ty original joes
I always have a good meal at Original Joe's. It's hard to go wrong with anything on their menu. The service is always really good as well. Servers are very nice and seem genuine.
Love the half price wine Tuesday's, only bad thing I can say is that every time I've been there the fries are soggy. Love the dill dip though!
Awesome nachos! Their Thai soup is fabulous & I love the options they have for sides. Any restaurant with a hotdog on the menu makes me happy.
Very good food. A good wait staff, friendly and not swamped for being pretty full. My meal was great, I asked for a pint, plus a sample of another. My wife is here often and raves about it. Their in-house beer is fine also.
Good food but slow service. If you cant handle a busy patio then dont have one or hire more staff. Our server didnt even acknowledge our drinks were empty as she walked by 5+ times. Love the steak and great ceasar salad!
Yum!. Its really good! If we are talking about chain restaurants, I would say it is one large step up from a Boston Pizza and has a better atmosphere. I always get the salmon club... its just soo good!

We went last night and really enjoyed it. The hostess and servers were all very friendly girls. We got there early so we were seated quickly. I disliked how dark it was and how the tables were (was quite uncomfortable), but ya can't always get what ya want. As for the food though - we got short ribs to start which had decent flavour but were super dry, obviously prepared well in advance then flas fried to order - can't blame them for wanting to keep service fast. I got the butter chicken which was amazing. I've had a lot of butter chicken and the flavour was bold and delicious, but not hot at all. If you've never tried it because you're worried about heat, this would be the place for you to try it. The naan bread that came with was light and fresh, some of the best I've ever had. This was a huuuuge portion, btw. My bf got the steak sandwich with caesar salad and sweet potato fries. He asked for the steak medium and it was cooked properly. The caesar had real bacon and the sweet potato fries were awesome. I kept stealing fries from him - whatever the sauce is they serve with them was really tasty. All this with 2 beers and tip came to $59.

Half Price Wine Nights. Love half price wine nights. It's a cool casual place to go to if you want a place to eat and drink late, but is better then Boston Pizza. Servers are chill ladies and booths offer an intimate setting with your friends even if the place is bustling with people. Have only been here a few times, but I like the choices on the menu and I will be back. Burgers and Pasta's I've had so far have been good.
Great butter Chicken. Went there for lunch for the first time today and had the butter chicken. It was really great for a place that is not an Indian restaurant. Good portion too. Good atrmosphere as well.
Reliable and mature. As far as lower priced chain restaurants go OJ's is really one of the most solid ones. Perhaps it's because I only ever order two things (the pulled pork or the seasonal salmon avocado sandwich) that I've never been disappointed with my meal, but I appreciate the consistency. Price is fairer than most other chain restaurants. Service is always decent. I also like OJ's just because it doesn't seat minors - call me grumpy but not having to eat with other people's kids is never a bad thing.
Best place in the city!. I go to ojs all the time. friendly, cute servers.. rarely anything to complain about but if there is management is very good about it. Everything is reasonably priced. If anyone is complaining about a lack of menu diversity they clearly dont know how to read! Wide variety of appys, pizza, pasta, burgers, and far more vegetarian options than anywhere else in the city! overall great environment
Saskatoons Finest Patio!. What a great night on their deck tonight! Food is always delicious! Love there sweet potato fries and pasta salad as my sides! This place has never once disappointed me, ever. I just keep coming back. Really like your new location in Regina too. Thanks for everything...we will be back soon!

Yum!. I've never been disappointed here. Their nachos are the best!
Went there for the first time, mostly because I had a gift card. Drinks were pretty yummy, veggie burger was surprisingly tasty and the patio was nice to chill on.
Good place to go without eating with other people's brats. Adult only restaurant like this is perfect for going for beers with the guys.
Love this place!. The first Original Joe's I tried was in Lloydminster and when it came to Saskatoon I was very happy! I used to only ever get the chicken fingers since they are the best that I have had at any restaurant. I have since tried other menu items and I have never been disappointed with a meal at this place and I have never experienced bad service. They usually have good dipping sauces with their meals (depending on what you get) and even the gravy is good which is very rare for most restaurants. I can afford to eat at fancier places but prefer Original Joe's not because of the price (which I think is very good for what you get) but because the food is delicious and I am always full at the end. Don't let the hate reviews deter you!
One of my favourites. I love their sandwiches and the 2 sides you get with it. I've never been disappointed and i eat here every 2 weeks
Good salad. The Thai Chicken Salad is so delicious. I also love the regular fries with dill dip.
Why do the servers have to wear such short skirts? It's like getting a free peep show with dinner.
Original Joe's consistent and Unique. Great menu with lots of healthy tasty food choices. I have yet to have either a bad recipe or poor service. Nice surrounding and great deck with efficient service and great staff.
Very enjoyable..... We gave Original Joes another try...two weeks after opening wasn't a good experience. We had awesome food, great price and excellent service this time. LOTS on the menu to choose from! Love that kid's aren't allowed!
My only gripes would be that it was really, really dark and really, really loud inside.
Good food and decently priced drinks. Their wine night is excellent and I love that they don't serve children. I like dining in an adult resturaunt with an adult atmosphere. If I wanted to eat with kids running around I would go to mcdonalds...2 thumbs up
My favorite deck. Food and service are always good. Too loud inside for me but if the deck is open, it's the best place to be. Love the heaters for late summer nights.
Not bad.... It is what it is... a chain with average food. It tastes ok and the portions are large for the price.
Decent food, good drinks, bad service. There are a few things on the menu that I really like. Fish and chips and the Joes double dog are both really good. Wings are ok, nothing special though. I would go back for either of those two meals but the service is horrible here. If you can put up with bad service this place has a few good meals for sure.
Should just say BAR. I really like this place. The food is really good for a barépub style place. They dont allow kids, ever, so thats why i have the heading as BAR.
Ceasers are excellent and they have specials for cheap! the house dressing is yummy for salads and i liked their french onion soup.

A little feedback. First of all the comment about the lululemon skirts... this is a obviously a bar as you cannot enter unless over 19 so expect to see servers dressed a little more provocative. You actually cannot see their butt as they are skorts. Those are shorts underneath which cover the girls behinds. If you want formally dressed servers go to a more formal restaurant.
The food I think is great as well the portions are large so no I would not say they are over priced. If you would not like to spend $ on food than stay home. They are comparable to all the best restaurants in Saskatoon such as Earls, Moxies, and so on.
Service is usually great but with every restaurant you have those who are newer to serving or possibly having a bad day. Remember that these people are waiting on you hand and foot for minimum wage. Treat them with respect and you will recieve the same.
Management however I find is where Original Joes lacks class. The few times I have gone to OJs I find the management staff sitting around, usually eating, leaving the servers to handle every task alone. I've also seen they are unwilling to try to accomidate larger groups.
But I still would recommend Original Joes to anyone who has not gone.
Pretty good. This is a staple amongst my family. The food is good, I personally really like their fish and chips. The portions are great, and they also serve some really good sweet potatoe fries. Also the pulled pork sandwhich is just awesome.
Nice, friendly place!. We were there around 11am so there really wasn't that many people in the place at that time. Our server was very friendly and it wasn't long after she took our order that our food came. My wife had the veggie omelet while I had the steak and eggs. Both breakfasts were great and the steak was done exceptionally well. Our bill came to $40 which included 20% gratuity.
Watch out for the floor..?. If you can ignore the occasionally incredibly slippery floor (I've seen more than one person wipe out), Original Joe's is worth a trip. Their food is great & the portions are huge.
Tasty, cheap.. Good place to go for beers and a big quantity of food. The pulled pork sandwich is great. The food is a really good deal compared to places like BPs or Montana's, plus you get more food that is of comparable quality.

Good food!. The food was pretty good. Very traditional items on the menu which is awesome! Our server was very friendly and gave us good service. I had the chicken caesar wrap with sweet potatoe fries and the mango pasta salad. Next time ill try either the Cobb Salad or the nachos.. Ive heard really good things about the nachos!!
Great Burger. Has a fantastic burger with delicious sides. Every bit had tonnes of flavor.
