Review Winston's - Saskatoon

We had the beef and grog and it was fantastic. My wife says it was the best beef sandwich she's ever had. Server was attentive, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was the perfect taste bud overload after the beef sandwich and poutine. We'll be back.

My girlfriend and I just finished some beers and wings, and wanted to leave a raving review for our server Bailey. Even during the mania that is St. Patrick's Day, we barely waited for any service. She was as quick and efficient as can be, and even more personable. Thanks Bailey!

The Saskatchewan summer drink was pretty good . The atmosphere was great good perfect lighting not too dim not too bright and good ventilation. Good place to hang out and have a few drinks. These were at really low prices too.

Lovely pub atmosphere, however the drinks were not ideal. They weren't consistant with the ingredients posted. Thank goodness they were on special.

Our team came in for food and drinks and we were not disappointed. The beers from 21st Street located on the premises are tasty AF. We tried a few of them and ordered some pub fare. Staff is super friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Thank you Winston's... We'll be back soon! ... Probably for lunch tomorrow. 😃

Came in at lunch yesterday with 2 others. The person looking after the table seemed a little overwhelmed as it was lunch time and there were not many servers. It took a while to get our order but when it came it was quite delicious. I had the fish and chips and it was quite tasty. It was supposed to come with coleslaw but it didn’t make the plate. The server said they were out of coleslaw. This was not proactively dealt with and she only mentioned it when I asked. Nothing else was offered. When I asked for more tartar I was then told I would have to pay extra for it. Strange that they could not provide coleslaw and offered nothing else and in the same breath was told I would be charged extra for additional tartar. I lived in England and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the tin ceilings. It reminded me of pubs in London. My concern is with the lack of staff. At lunch especially this is important as everyone is wanting to get things quickly. I don’t know how many were in the kitchen but perhaps things would go more smoothly if there was adequate staff.

Went to Winston’s for the first time in April while passing through Saskatoon and thought it’d be a cool place to check out. We sat at the bar and ordered a beer. The bartender (bald man?) was quite rude and didn’t seem to be interested in making conversation. He seemed to be more interested in watching cartoons on the tv. We ordered a sour beer on tap and it was awful, I had 3 sips of the beer and mentioned it tasted off.. he didn’t seem to care. We paid our tab and left.. I’ve never wasted a beer like that but I’m telling you the beer tasted sickening. Overall, the place has a really cool vibe to it but it’s a shame that the lack of compassion for the guests had to be a factor.
