We had the pleasure of swinging by the drive-thru of Global, which came with some expectations given its local ratings. One would think the outdated menu boards, intercom system, serving window and general facade would take away from the experience but it was the opposite. The old school donut shop branding, light roast coffee and deliciously-moist donuts we're all working in unison. The Chocolate Coconut donut had a wonderful toasted coconut crust and the Cherry Blossom is one of their bestsellers (and we know why). We were greeted by a friendly South Asian server at the window who wished us a happy religious holiday as well, something that made our day! If you're looking for a cheerful morning breakfast or post-meal finisher, give in to the reviews at this place and pay a visit - it's worth it.

So good to be able to sit inside and have fresh coffee and fresh baked donuts again. Gus makes all the donuts from scratch and they are the best in the land, delicious!!!

Quite a gem here. Nice inside and out. Delicious donuts and date squares and decent coffee. Way better than any chain. It is more money than Tim's, but the products are much much better. Service was great. Restaurant was clean. Nice picnic tables outside. Even has a drive through. Not sure why anyone in Sarnia would go elsewhere.

Best donuts in Ontario. Well worth the trip! The staff is friendly and helpful, as soon as you walk in the door you can tell it’s the sort of local business that is at the heart of a community. I don’t think you’ll find massive menu changes but that is the best part. Each product they sell is full of quality and perfected! Everything is fresh and well worth the trip just to try it out.

Global Donuts is the best little donut shop by far. Every time I roll thru I have to stop in. The food is great and their staff is amazing. If you want donuts like we used to get when we were kids this is definitely the place to stop.

I've been missing Persians from Thunder Bay Ontario. My husband stopped by and grabbed me one of yours. Wow I can't believe how very close they are. The icing is much stronger (strawberry flavor)than in Thunder Bay but it still hit my sweet spot.

This place is a hidden gem. 24 hours, brilliant doughnuts and food, BREAKFAST ALL DAY, super friendly and wonderful staff. It is a genuine challenge to avoid just eating every meal here when I'm in town. Recommended most highly.
