We had the pleasure of swinging by the drive-thru of Global, which came with some expectations given its local ratings. One would think the outdated menu boards, intercom system, serving window and general facade would take away from the experience but it was the opposite. The old school donut shop

So good to be able to sit inside and have fresh coffee and fresh baked donuts again. Gus makes all the donuts from scratch and they are the best in the land, delicious!!!

Quite a gem here. Nice inside and out. Delicious donuts and date squares and decent coffee. Way better than any chain. It is more money than Tim's, but the products are much much better. Best donuts in Ontario. Well worth the trip! The staff is friendly and helpful, as soon as you walk in the door you can tell it’s the sort of local business that is at the heart of a community. I don’t think you’ll find massive menu changes but that is the best part. Each product they sell is full

Global Donuts is the best little donut shop by far. Every time I roll thru I have to stop in. The food is great and their staff is amazing. If you want donuts like we used to get when we were kids this is definitely the place to stop.
