Review Waggs Steak & Seafood - Sarnia

Stopped in here a couple weeks ago I ordered the steak, veggies and rice with a starter ceasar salad! It was absolutely amazing. Heaping ceasar salad, the rice tasted as though it was marinated and perfectly cooked. Veggies and steak were some of the best I've had. Compliments to the chef working. Service was great, fresh newer looking restaurant with great ambiance, was actually impressed.

The place is really nice, we sat outside with our little man (4 years old), the place was accommodating, most of the food was good, we fell in love with the mushroom filled with Crab appetizer, really tasty and flavourful. We also liked the BBQ pork Back Rib, super yummy. However the restaurant was out of soup, the food took over an hour to come plus the Shrimp Plater (one of the most most expensive plates) had nothing special about it, shrimps were not almost frozen store size shrimps and were not tasty to be honest. Otherwise we had a great night out here.

Overall great experience. Despite being fairly busy, service was fast and friendly. Drinks, salads, soups and food all arrived quickly and were delicious. Everything was fresh and hot.

Had the prime rib, it was cooked perfectly and was a generous size cut. Our server was very friendly and professional. Also had the escargot stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and it was cooked perfectly as well. No rubbery texture at all and tasted amazing! Would definitely recommend!

Although it is on the pricier side, the food definitely lives up to it. Everything from the starters to the entrees was nothing short of amazing. The staff was also incredibly hospitable and welcoming. Highly recommend

We had a great experience at Waggs last night celebrating four April birthdays. Our waitress was great as was the food. I was slightly disappointed though when the waitress asked management about our birthdays & they only sent two special deserts over when four of us are born in April. Other than that great food & service. Our waitress even took a picture of our table. Thankyou

The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The wait staff was very friendly and on the ball. I had the Sirloin Medallions. Very good and cooked to perfection. I would recommend Waggs to anyone in the area looking for a quality meal.

For a fine dining place I expected more. The food was just average. I am big on flavor and this lacked some of that. To be fair my standards are high so please go try and judge for yourself

I have been going to wagg's for years now and I have always had great service and the food is amazing I am a steak and seafood fan and wagg's is so close to be in the running with red lobster the owners of this fanatic restaurant are great the staff are very friendly and helpful and the motel next door is a great place to stay after you had a great meal and did some drinking I highly recommend this restaurant and motel for guraduation birthday parties weeding recaption annvarisry Christmas parties and so much more thank you for having a great restaurant in Sarnia Ontario.

Service wasn't great. The one server was socially inept and the other server seemed to have a bad attitude. Food was overpriced for the quality we got. The quartered tomatoes in the salad either sat out too long or were poorly cut. There was hardly any rice under the stirfry, the mashed potatoes were hard/lumpy/not hot, and the prime rib was hard on one side (couldn't chew it). The salads and the steak dinners were good.

I took my Family there for my Dads 70th bday. They were very accommodating for such a big party during their busy season. The staff was fantastic. The food was amazing. The whole family still talks about the great time we had.I would definitely recommend Waggs and we will do it again!

Great food at a decent price. There's usually a good crowd on the weekends so it's best to make a reservation.

We hadn't been there for several years and the return visit did not disappoint. All staff were very accommodating and friendly. We were staying at the super 8 hotel attached so very handy as well. Diane splaine

We had a great time celaebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Best Steak & Primerib in town. Highly recommend this Restaurant. We have been going there since they opened and used to go to Williams Beef. Keep up the good work!!

Had a fantastic dinner last night. Loved the beet soup and the chicken cordon blue was so yummy. Was a nice dinner to celebrate my moms birthday.

My husband and I are new to the area, and for Valentines Day, his brother gave us a gift certificate to Waggs and we had dinner. It was the most pleasant place I have ever had the fortune to eat at. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The decor was wonderful and most of all the food was excellent. It was the best steak dinner we have ever had. Will be going for all our special occasions now. Thank you Waggs Staff for the best Valentines evening ever.

Love Wagg's! The food is alway fresh and delisious, the staff are always pleasant and they always have specials going on. I highly recommend Wagg's Steak & Seafood Restaurant as a "night out for dinner" choice or even lunch. The summer salad and stirfry are our favorites!
