As a CBC (Canadian born Chinese), I was impressed with the quality of food served at Golden Island Restaurant. I have a tradition of trying out Chinese restaurants during my travels so I have eaten at a lot of places worldwide. The beef chow fun and Jip Way (Hong Kong style crispy noodle) chow mein were well presented and tasty. I also enjoyed talking with one of the owners named Sam and found out he is an ex-Victorian and moved to Salt Spring Island some forty years ago. Will definitely dine in again on my family's next trip back....��

Good food, excellent and fun service. We go there often.
Never knew how good I had it with Golden Islands till I moved off SSI and tried to find good chinese food elsewhere. Always get some when I'm visiting the island. No substitute for it.
