New renovated building is beautiful and bright. Food is still just as wonderful. Service is always great. I can't say enough good things about my experiences here. They bake bread fresh every day and in the summer, they have fresh made jam. So so good.

Easily the best breakfast place in Saint John the food is great the servers and always super friendly. I highly recommend the the maritimer which comes with fish cakes, home made baked beans, eggs, home fries and home made toast.

When on vacation my husband and I'd like to eat at non-chain restaurants. We asked the locals where they eat. The food, service, portions and everything about this place was great. You have to get past the fact that it's attached to a following down motel. But they keep the place very nice. And Trish, who has been there for 19 years, was very kind and warm-hearted and chatty. 🙂

Went for breakfast here this morning. My spouse had the omelet wrap which was pretty good. I had the " Maritimer ". The eggs were cook to specification, raisin brown bread was good as were the beans. The fish cakes were very salty and the pan fries were under cooked. The tea did not taste like Saint John water (bonus ).
The server wandered off to the other side of the building and forgot to bring me my toast. She also couldn't hear the bell when rang to serve food.
Over all the experience was O.K.
