We arrived in the city in the evening and arrived here looking for a place to eat. After being seated it took 15 min before a server came to take our orders. We ordered drinks and food at the same time given the long wait. Our food took another 45 minutes to come out. The server said there was a
nice place, they have restaurant upstairs and bar downstairs. For restaurant, reservation is required. It is a pretty big place and it was very busy on Sat night when I was there. It took too long for the food to come. Otherwise, the food was tasty, decor is nice and location is right on the water.
We loved our food. I had haddock and blueberry salad (I absolutely loved the blueberry salad). My husband had the lobster roll and mashed potatoes and he really enjoyed those too.
Came to Saint John for seafood, was beyond disappointed. We were greeted promptly and kindly, and the rest is downhill.
Ordered the seafood tower ($75 - 1/2 a 1/2 lb lobster, 8 oysters, 1/2 a small crab, 5 poached shrimp and mussels) and lobster roll ($29). Portions were tiny, they forgot tools for
nice place. good location and great food. like everyone else, they’re hurting for servers so be patient and kind. the server we had we clearly the best one in the place and he was running the floor like a conductor. good value for the money too.
