Review Vegolution - Saint John

Although I am not a vegetarian or have dietary restrictions, I stopped in this restaurant with my son and his girlfriend. I will say that it is a nice place with great service. The menu is very good and stays true to the name of the restaurant. I had the Revolution Cheese Burger - it was pretty tasty. It was made from brown rice and mushrooms - an alternative to beef. Our table also had the Macaroni and Cheese, and the Vegan Donair. All meals were very good. My son was very impressed with the Vegan Blueberry Cheesecake. French press coffee was also a nice touch. My son also enjoyed the seving of Kombucha. Thanks.

The place is very appealing and instagramable. Their "Fake Steak" is interesting.

Stopped in while traveling through. Had the poutine -- fantastic. Wife had a salad, also fantastic. Clearly they put a lot of care into their product, and I wish I could try more items from the menu! Next time. If you're not vegan or vegetarian, don't hesitate...food is food, and this is fantastic food.

Today we were in the mood for soup and salad and this place came up in a search from Google for just that. My wife and boy are not vegetarian but I am. So brought them there and we were nervous when we saw the place from outside but gave it a try. We were not disappointed in the least. My wife admitted to me that she is now willing to switch to a vegetarian diet after such a good meal. She had the lentil/pea/potato soup and I had the Vegetable Bowl Salad. My boy had the poutine and of course we nibbled his. His poutine was the best poutine I have ever eaten in my life. I highly recommend this place! I may just have to make a trip to Saint John sometime to just eat here again.

Their take on classic dishes like Poutine are interesting to say the least, with shaved mushroom chips and deep fried cheese curds (if you don't want to go full vegan). I enjoyed my meal, the staff was extremely friendly and good mannered. The location itself has a great ambiance and decor. Would def recommend this spot to anyone who wants to try something new and fresh.

3 Reasons why you need to try VEGolution • As someone who works on the road and is an avid foodie I must say when I visited VEGolution it made my heart and stomach full! I’ve been a vegetarian for about a year now which has not been easy, and this place knows how to accommodate. • 1. Atmosphere When you first walk in to this #1 rated restaurant you are bombarded with smells that make your mouth water. On top of that the place just looks earthy and cool! It has got a bunch of live plants and beautiful wooden seats that add to the environment leaving you feel like you’re almost in nature. • 2. Staff The whole kitchen staff is out in the open creating an even more open concept dining experience. They are super friendly and more then open to answer any of the questions you might have about the selection of food. The servers are well trained in helping you come up with a decision and are super knowledgeable. They even helped me pick out some cool local hikes in the area whilst I am staying in town. ABOVE AND BEYOND! • 3. FOOD Oh, my goodness where do I even start… There is a 100% Reason why VEGolution is the number one rated restaurant in New Brunswick the food here is incredible! If you are a vegan this place is for you and even if you’re not a vegan/vegetarian THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU! I have spent the last two nights Dining here and I have not been disappointed. On the first night I got the Vegan tofu Curry which was fantastic with beautifully seared tofu and fresh vegetables with a bed of curry sauce… YUM! Second night I got their in-house homemade cheeseburger with their award-winning poutine. The burger is made from brown rice and mushroom and it must be one of the best veggie burgers I have ever eaten. The Poutine… Well, let us just say you must go there to try it out because there just aren’t any words to describe it… • Located in the heart of Saint John’s, New Brunswick it is very easily at the top of list for must eats! Check it out for yourself!

Everything about my first lunch experience here was excellent, right down to the water! You can tell the staff enjoy working there and they know the menu. I ordered the burger, I have had many vegan burgers but this one took the crown. My Daughter had a poutine and Wife had a veggie bowl, we were all extreamly happy with our meals. My only complaint is the restaraunt is in Saint John not in my home town! Well done Vegolution!

I just had the best experience at Vegolution! Their staff are absolutely amazing and truly one of a kind. I drove an hour and a half to get there and ended up arriving while they were closed to prep for their evening I poked my head in and they let me come in and have some tea while I waited for them to start serving again (half hour which was perfect). I sat and enjoyed the restaurants atmosphere and the lovely tea with just staff in there. It's obvious the staff have a lot of respect for Keith and Sarah from the way they all interacted but it's like a little family too. It was very pleasant to experience. The atmosphere is comfortable and cute. When my friend arrived we had the tostada, tomato appetizer with avocado ( I forget what it was called but so good!!), red lentil curry, the tofu donair, coconut jello, and the caramel square. I'm a bit of a food snob and often get frustrated when I go out to eat and I could've made better at home but this was exceptional. The service was top notch. Can't wait to go back � I didn't get pictures because we were so eager to eat everything but wow! 11/10

I kept hearing the rave reviews about the vegan donair, so I was very excited to try it. I ordered it a little while ago, and it was quite appetizing. However, if anyone remember donairs like I do, it was not even close to the amount of food I was expecting. The wrap was small and not the texture I wanted. It seemed a bit dry as there wasn't enough sauce, and I felt I got half as much as I should have for the 16 dollar price tag. I realize they use the best of ingredients here, but the portion size could have been a lot bigger. All in all, I've been debating coming back because I feel a bit disappointed and let down by the whole experience.

My friend and I decided out of the blue to try you guys. We've both been very eager to but never got the chance until yesterday. And I'm so glad we did. We ordered a veggie bowl, bruschetta, mac and peas and deep fried green tomatoes. I have never tasted such great food in my life and I'm honestly blessed to have had the pleasure of having your delicious food grace my taste buds. Everything was absolutely phenomenal. Presentation was beyond perfect. The atmosphere and having the open kitchen right next to us, being able to watch the chefs, was absolutely amazing. I love everything about this place. Even if you aren't vegan or vegetarian, you should go. You wouldn't even know that theres no meat or dairy in what you're eating. Its fantastic. As someone whos been a vegetarian, its very hard to find good, flavorful, nutritious food at any restaurant. We're usually stuck ordering from the sides menu. With vegolution, that is not the case at all!! Incredibly delicious, filling, and was such a wonderful time. The chefs and staff are all absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to come back.

Saint John finally has a vegetarian restaurant and it was worth the wait! The place looks gorgeous, the service was great, and the food was delicious. The vegan donair is a must-have and I am excited to try everything on the menu!

Had the veggie Donair today with the Tostada appetizer and it was amazing! Atmosphere is fantastic and service was great. Highly recommend this place to all food lovers.

What an incredible new restaurant. I am not a vegetarian, but the entire menu was full of delicious dishes that made me forget meat altogether! Well done, from the food, to the staff, to the décor! from your soon - to - be - regular - customer

Only was able to come for dessert and we had the vegan Panna Cotta and the Caramel square and they were both delicious. I can't wait to come for supper or lunch. Update** we went there again in the evening. I had the fingerlings, mac & peas and the donair. They were all amazing. I didn't know what to eat first so I was eating all 3 at once. Lol

Tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and ordered the Mac & Pea's. I never expected cashew "cheese" sauce to actually taste like cheese, so I was very pleasantly surprised when it did! Add the fried bread crumbs on top with paprika, and that reminded me of the taste of bacon. This is definitely going to be one of my top go-to places for dining out!

What a wonderful dining experience! Excellent food, friendly staff, quality service and great ambiance - Vegolution has it all! We tried many of the dishes (and desserts!) and they were all delicious and presented beautifully. We felt well taken care of and especially loved the cozy nook where we were seated! There were both vegetarians and non-vegetarians at our table and everyone was very happy with their food. You can really tell a lot of care and pride goes into the making of each dish. We will definitely be back!

I've been here many times since they opened and have never been disappointed. The food is consistently amazing every single time. I'm not even a vegetarian and this has become my new favourite restaurant in Saint John.

My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Vegolution this afternoon. He got the vegan donair and I got the fried tofu chicken burger. Both were delicious. The service was amazing. Thank you so much for opening a restaurant that has delicious vegan options!

I tried Vegolution for the first time last night and it was fantastic. I’ve been vegetarian for 10 years and I think the kentucky fried tofu burger was the best veggie burger I’ve ever had. So happy a vegitarian restaurant has opened in Saint John, and such a wonderful one. I will definetly be back!

My husband and I ordered take out on Friday. The service was great, and the food was so delicious! Better than we expected. We had the bruschetta, donair, and panna cotta! All so good! We are so glad to have a vegetarian restaurant in the city! My only suggestion would be to consider wheelchair accessibility with the front entrance so those in the disabled community, like myself, have the option of dining in and enjoying the amazing food and atmosphere!

Delicious! I had their vegan donair..sooo yummy! And the fries were perfectly crispy and salted. Great staff, super friendly, and great atmosphere! I watched many other orders come up and everything looked superb! I will definitely be back!

One of the best lunches I’ve had in a long time . Congrats to Keith and Sara on this wicked spot. The food is delicious!
