The outdoor patio in the summer time is worth the visit. Great food with flowers blooming everywhere and a fountain in the background. Lots of sweets and treats to pick from and even basic Italian groceries available should you need something. Highly recommended.

This was my first visit and was based solely on prior Urbanspoon reviews. Tonolli's is a tiny oasis on a busy intersection leading to the Pat Bay Hwy. it has suitable parking directly in front.
I was greeted warmly, and I assume I was identified as a new customer because I was offered helpful instructions on how to place my order, and where the refill station was for coffee.

I decided upon the cinnamon French toast. The generous portion was delivered quickly and was piping hot. Once you add the maple syrup and the whip cream it's a little on the sweet side, but that was cut by the side dish of (thawed) strawberries. I wish there had been a bit less bread and just a little of something else on the plate though.

I left feeling satisfied, and looking forward to returning a number of times as I work my way through all the delicious items in their display case.

Cute with friendly staff andGreat place but....... They don't seem to be equipped with enough staff to handle a busy rush. Be prepared to self order and self serve!
I would come back again though...

Best kept secret in Saanich. If you crave fresh baked goods, try the fruit scones - absolutely to die for. All recipes are original, family secrets. Everything I've eaten here is wonderful.

It has everything!. Fantastic atmosphere, quaint cosy fresh interior with amazing home baked goods, slow cooked soups, fresh deli selections for their taste bud exploding sandwiches. Always looking to do great work with food. They even do cakes and pies for parties and sandwich trays.

Good selection of frozen take aways, hungarian stuffed peppers, chicken pot pies, lots of soups. Gluten free selections and great little shopping area with delious selections as well.

Lovely deli/cafe. I probably had the best poached eggs and ham in my life this morning. They were done to perfection. Their baked goods look fantastic!

Quaint cafe with delicious food and coffee! My husband had the Vienna Panini and an Espresso, I had the Pesto Benny and an Iced Mocha. I don't normally like tomatoes but it went really well with the Benny. Quick service, dog-friendly outdoor patio, and an overall pleasant atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

Stopped for refreshments before heading to the ferry. We did take out last summer and this time dined in. Looking forward to trying out the patio next time. The biggest mocha and cinnamon bun ever!

Very cute restaurant near the airport. A nice selection of breakfast and lunch type food and lots of very delicious baked goods to enjoy. The garden seating is a really nice touch as well with a fountain and umbrellas. Great place to stop in for a bite or coffee and cake. Recommended.

Our favourite spot for a coffee and baked good. Friendly service with a really laid back, cosy vibe inside, and a super cute patio in the summer. Never disappointed with their tasty snacks.

Absolutely amazing food. These are artisan bakery prices, but the food is also top notch artisan quality. The Versaille and the Toscano paninis are fantastic - a delicious pairing of ingredients and every bit leaves you wanting more. I could not get enough of them.

The food is good, and the staff are lovely! My only complaint is how warm it is inside, and as a customer I don’t worry so much for myself but the staff. It’s a very hot workplace for them which must make for a long day for them. I wish there was more air flow or better air conditioning for them!

The coffee was really good. I had an iced americano and it was wonderful. The cup was NOT filled to the brim with ice. What was in the cup was just enough to make it cold and keep it there without diluting it too much. I was asked it I wanted anything in it prior to making it. There was enough room for milk. The cappuccino my partner has was well made...not too milky with good coffee flavour. He had a peanut butter brownie and it was very good and not skimpy either. I had carrot cake. It was moist and the home made icing was full of flavour. I could have eaten more, it was so good. We checked over the other baked items and they all looked so tempting. There are some panninis as well and they all looked intriguing enough toe Tice us back again soon. There is seating inside or outside I a small pleasant looking patio area. We sat I side an.a.small but comfy area. It was a bit warm but not too bad. People were in and out getting sandwiches for take out. It's a bit out of the way but we'll worth the drive for good food and coffee. Definitely deserves to be on the radar for a regular coffee stop.
