Review New Dragon Palace - Rocky Mountain House

Don’t let the strange entrance or bland decor fool you, this is the “hole in the wall” establishment we wish we had near home in the city. This family run restaurant executes Chinese-Canadian food perfectly, while somehow managing to re-introduce elements of authenticity. Large portions, great value. Large shrimps!

The food was garbage, non of the "fried" items where actually fried. The rice was greasy. Covid is over but they don't want people sitting in the restaurant. That dosnt bother me to much but they served us 2 beers each and then asked us to leave once our food was ready. You charged me 15$ for 2 bottles of Budweiser an absolute rip off for a dive bar. So I sat in their restaurant and ate anyways. Spent 50$ at your restaurant and I can't sit in there. Disgusting

Had the smorg was quite good on everyday except Monday 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

We got take out for New Years, and ordered dishes that we'd never had before. They were all amazing. We tend to stay away from the deep fried "American" Chinese food and we were really pleased.

Had a couple of dinners here tonight and it was superb. Lots of food and all high quality. They only have take out right now due to the whole situation but if you are looking for some top notch comfort food give it a go. Really good price also. Oh yeah and make sure you get an extra Green Onion Cake or 2....trust me!

Warning this place is great for your Chinese food, msg fueled diet cheat days! Been here a lot and done take away. Never been disappointed ...however i have been scared! Only because I've been here often enough and the staff are really friendly and remember you well, so she always knows when I'm getting door it's for my family and she always knows we don't order enough veggies! 😝 The stern look i get is like when I'd shovel the peas onto the floor for my dog when I was a kid and my mom would give me that look....then again i didn't have a dog and was just making a mess

Poor service, had to call multiple times since staff kept hanging the phone up, to ask where the order was. We placed the order at noon to be delivered for 730pm and the order was 45 minutes late. The only answer we received was they where busy and the employee on the phone did not know the managers name and would not give the phone to a manager when I asked for one.
