My friend Anne Snell and I enjoyed a delicious roasted beet and goat cheese salad at Chompin At the Bit in Rockwood today. The menu provides many healthy options for those with specific dietary needs or lifestyles choices. As a holistic wellness practitioner (Health by Design) I highly recommend the healthy food options available at Chompin at the Bit.
Yummy food great service and very nice decor! I tried the Tuna and hubby got rib eye, yummy spinach dip for a starter! Last time I was at this location it was the Twist and Shout Rockwood Hotel and it was a dump. Only thing I missed was the pool table!
Great food, excellent atmosphere, and always terrific company.
I recommend Chomping at the Bit to all my friends and none have been disappointed.
The chef is also always glad to go the extra mile for anyone who asks.
Great staff. Front of house to the back. Friendly and professional.
Great food. I've eaten there many times. I've have had everything from steak to salad and it's always exceptional.
Great band... I think they were called Wicked Truth.
I hope to return soon.
We were visiting feom Winnipeg and went here for a late dinner. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. He checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. Even the staff who was not serving us gave us warm greetings. ..we had such a wonderful time. I had the Buffalo Caesar Chicken wrap which was fantastic, and the fries were good (but nothing special). Would definitely come back to Chompin at the Bit!
What a wonderful restaurant! The decor is so warm and welcoming! The food is absolutely delicious! The burgers are soooo good! The servers are friendly! Great place to take the family, we really enjoy it!
This is such a welcome addition to Rockwood! The owners seem to be great folks. The decor is upscale yet comfortable. I've been a few times, but came with my family of four and were welcomed right from the get go. The kids loved it, the food was amazing and we were generally very very pleased. My only knock on the Bit would be the beer selection. It seems like a craft beer local kind of vibe yet they have very generic boring beers.
Great foo, service and a good wine list! We’ll be back!
Our band (Bad Neighbours) played The Bit last June and had a great time! Good and responsive crowd and the restaurant has a beautiful and modern layout. We had quite a bit of the blueberry Pilsner. Last night I returned with my girlfriend and enjoyed the beef brisket and salad and she had the fish tacos. We washed it down with some nice Merlot. Awesome service from Brie and a delicious and a romantic dinner all around! Bad Neighbours will be playing there again on New Year's Eve and we look forward to it!!
