Review La Bonne Cuisine - Roberval

Good food, family-run restaurant. We went there in August 1st and there was line up. Waited around 15 mins before we got a table. It took me 30 mins before I got the food. I was ok with it because I don’t think they’re used to getting this many clients at once. So if you don’t want to wait for the food or if you have kids either go early or get ready to wait. Otherwise, friendly service and great fish.

We liked the ambiance, the service was prompt, and the food was quite tasty (la tourtière and some very fresh fish), but I really would have liked to wash it all down with some amazing Québecois beer. Could anyone tell me why they don't offer beer there? Merci pour le repas. A+

Very nice staff and good food. 3.5 rating for us but since google doesn’t have half ratings well round it up. We had the tourtiere St Jean and doré fish.

Nice cozy place, can comfortably sit ~40 people so it's not intimate but familial/personal. The staff is very welcoming and takes very good care of your needs, even without having to ask. It's rare that I say that but, if you come close by it's well worth the detour. I don't live nearby the place but, I've been there ~10 times over the span of 15 years and they never disappointed me. $ low price and great grandma food.

Some days ,its fantastic !! Some days its 'ordinairy" ,i guess the cook has her days ,some better ,some not ,but in general its good, being a customer there for over 15 years when i come to these parts.

Very good home-made food, we ate already the second day there and we will go tomorrow too. Very tasty any plate, and the blueberries pie is amazing. In plus is not expensive at all, really good prices and very friendly and kind staff.

Authentic food from the countryside, similar to what my grandmother used to make. It is not actually worth 4 stars for the food quality and value tbh, but the imperfections in seasonning etc... were there in my family's meals as well! The service was good and quick by the way. To give an idea, if had to rate the food by itself and not take authenticity or service into account, that would be a 3, maybe 3.5. A little bit on the pricy side as well for what it is.
