Review Nando's Coppersmith (ironwood) - Richmond

Friendly service. Tasty chicken. Bit pricey. Love their fountain drinks but that machine was broken at the time. Ordered a whole chicken to share with two regular sides (fries and coleslaw) and a large side (macho peas).

I just ordered from this store and i got a rotten food with old stinky veggies. The rice is sticked together, and veggies spoiled, made the whole room got bad smelling. I called the store to let them know but unfortunately their customer service was absoletuly down denying and pretending everything is fresh. Just broke my mood and apetite and made me think very carefully from where to order. A real shame

First time I've eaten at Nandos anywhere, and this left me distinctly underwhelmed and disappointed. Ordered a load of takeout and what I got was a chicken sandwich that looked nothing as advertised - an anemic piece of chicken battered to 1/4 inch thick in a soft bun. The other items in my order were equally disappointing - wet, soggy garlic bread and a wrap that I specifically asked for only chicken and lettuce was rammed with all thr gunk my daughter didn't want - even though the order was repeated back to me, word for word to be only chicken and lettuce. Listening isn't hard. The order went in right, but I guess nobody in the back cares enough about their customers. This will be my last Nandos. I would highly recommend others avoid. You'll be ordering over-priced, low quality food, and if they get your order right, I doubt you'll enjoy it.

This was my first time visiting a Nando's and it was a mix of fast food and table service. We had to first order at the counter and pay, but they would also come to the table and bring the food to us when it was ready. My favorite part of the meal was dessert. Although it was very small it was very delicious. The other main dishes of chicken were a bit too salty for my taste.

As a South African living in Canada, this brand is a taste of home, which makes me a bit more critical than usual. Today I got a take out (half chicken, peri peri fries and coleslaw) at this outlet and was delighted! Place was spotlessly clean, service super friendly and turn around from order to eat its on 10 minutes. Chicken juicy, the breast a little dry, it took a while for some SA outlets to get this right to, coleslaw was fresh, lite on the dressing which is great for those of us who dislike eating coleslaw with mayonnaise. Fries were very over salted though. In a health conscious age and for those of us with coronary issues this should be looked at. I will be back had a great lunch!

Had a lousy experience at this location of Nando's. I have eaten their chicken at many locations over the years with a lot of satisfaction. The service and manager's attitude left me with a bad taste. I will not return to this location.

Very good Portuguese chicken place. They have a variety of spice levels from plain to Peri hot. Delicious chicken and the side dishes are usually very good. Often quite salty but the spice does not detract from the flavor. They have both sit in booths, a quick lunch counter and outside dining. Bathrooms are clean. Parking is plentiful due to the strip mall. They have family specials and allow take out. This restaurant is licensed and carries a limited variety of alcohol. Decor is usual for a Nandos. Warm wood browns and some dark red. Very nice to sit back and eat in. It is counter ordering but did is delivered to the table if you are eating in.

This location is newly renovated. I’ve probably said it on other Nando location reviews that I prefer this location for various other reasons: 1) the chicken is tastier and fresh and not too salty 2) One time we did take out and the chicken was shriveled up and burnt (black). The chicken looked like it had be re roasted or heated up for the third time. I drove back and they gave me a new one without hassle. Easy. 3) Aside from the tasty food, I find that the staff are friendly with or without tipping (and you should). 4) lots of parking at Ironwood This being newly renovated and also kfull staff, it is cleaner and better maintained.

Used to love the food, but was extremely dissatisfied with our experience on Dec 22, 2018. The chicken was hot outside but cold on the inside. It seems like they get a lot of orders through food delivery apps that they end up forgetting customers who come into the restaurant. We came into the restaurant and ordered a meal for 3 (half chicken, 5 wings, 2 skewers, etc). After 30 minutes, we enquired about our food and my beer which still hadn't come only to realize that they packed my food for take-out and had it been sitting for a while. They began to just give me the food which had been sitting there, so I requested them to remake (and not reheat) the meal (since that must have turned cold). They said they've put a fresh one on the grill and I would have believed them if they hadn't got my entire meal in 2 minutes (if only chicken could cook that fast). They had put my previous food on the grill to only heat the outside. The food was hot on the outside but cold on the inside. I really used to like the food (especially my 2 year old son), but this time it was way below par. The food tasted like I've ordered it through a food delivery app only to receive it cold and having to reheat it at home. The only difference was that I was at the restaurant.<br/><br/>They gave me two personal meal vouchers for the next time I come which would have been appreciated if they hadn't lied to me about giving me fresh food.

Grilled bbq chicken at its finest. Their signature peri-peri sauce comes from South Africa with a special type of spice that one can’t find anywhere in North America. I’ve always loved their chicken for their signature grill marks and spice. . spicy hummus with pita bread . Tangy Peri-Peri infused oil to pour over creamy hummus. Love the warm pita wrap pieces they compliment the hummus well.

Absolutely the best Nandos around. I have tried others and they just dont taste as good as this one. Seems like new staff since my last. Cashier was very polite and knowledgeable about the menu giving suggestions to help us out. Excellent service considering they were so busy. Waitress even came back to check if everything was ok. The restaurant and washrooms were clean,you can tell they check. <br/>We sat on the patio which was so nice. Great location and plenty of easy parking. Definitely will go back for that delicious peri peri sauce.

Stalker alert. My least favorite nando's location....food was good, don't get me wrong...just that the creepy owner kept chatting me up even though i was busy eating with my bf. made me feel really uncomfortable. won't be a returning customer.

Great Food. I love Nandos but this is gotta be the best one. The service up front could be a bit better, but I was there on a pretty busy friday night, understandable. <br/><br/>My hats down to the chefs in the kitchen, they seem pretty young so, well done.

Ordered mild got hot ruined my experience

Don't know the owners but im guessing they're east Indian cuz there was a little brown girl running around in kitchen.... Unsafe ! She must of been 7 yrs old. Please get babysitters kitchen is not a playground.

VERY Average. Ordered the 5 wings combo and the Mrs had the chicken breast sandwich. And while my wings were tasty enuff - her breast sandwich was under-sized and cooked like it came off steam-table or microwaved. The bun was not oversized and the breast barely filled half the bun - and @ $10+ for the meal (we felt ripped-off)<br/><br/>Have been here a couple of times and we concluded that it is average at best and will NOT B returning any time soon

We ordered one of each of the two available choices. Boyfriend had the 1/4 chicken (aka. chicken breast) and I had the double-leg as I always thought chicken breast is too dry. Even with a good place as Nando’s, it’s still the same. They give you 4 choice

Arkensen was doing his homework and he asked for take out for his lunch. The Nando's that we visited is the one in Coppersmith, where Canadian Tire is. There are plenty of parking here.
