Review New York Fries - Richmond

Great place for fries, hot dogs, and some more. This one is located in the upper food court at Richmond Centre. Easy accessible by SkyTrain. Free on site surface and garage parking. #letsguide #covid

Got the premium hot dog with chili and cheese. Not very premium in looks... A sad looking hot dog. The skin was dry and the bread was store bought Villagio bread. There is a Cobs bakery in the mall so if they got Cobs fresh buns instead of the processed buns they used, it would be way better. It's just essentially like a 7 eleven hot dog but 4X the price.

Ordered a regular poutine and they are getting skimpy on the curds and gravy. After the top layer is gone, there's nothing left but plain bland fries.

I got a classic poutine for the first time and they did not disappoint. They were quick to give me my order, unlike the other food stores in the food court. The worker (I did not get his name) was super kind and polite. I was not sure if I was supposed to walk up to the counter because he looked busy, but he was super friendly and greeted me. He repeated to make sure if I want ice or not instead of guessing and getting it wrong unlike other places. Great place and I will come here again!

I love New York fries. Yesterday I went at this location to order around 3:40 pm and I saw something unusual, unprofessional behaviour only by one staff member. What I saw there that there was this girl at the front taking orders, handing out orders nicely, she was doing her best and then there was another girl behind the fryer, she was also doing her best, it was busy at that point of time. Coming to the main concern that I saw a girl yawing with her mask off moving at the front desk , she did not care that there are customers at the front and she was looking sleeping. It was busy and she could have offered a little help to other girls but she did not instead she was busy filling up drink and making veggie fries for herself. I saw her taking the fries for herself first then fir the customers the other girl made . I looked very mean and unethical to me. I wonder if she is a shift manager or someone at higher position then the other two girls then the are having a tough time as I could see. She sneezed and was without the mask , looked so sleepy. No concern for the customers waiting and all she was worried about was her own drink and fries. Hope the management reads my review and will be helpful to you to do better .

I love New York Fries. I love watching them prepare the thick cut fries, I love watching them bake it. The standard fries are pretty good and the basic poutine is tasty as well (you sometimes need to prompt the staff to really get hot gravy on the curds to get that melt as the curds are stored slightly below room temperature). The fries with the works are a mixed bag. I can do without the butter chicken entirely. Parking is close either from the rooftop mall lot or one of the other mall lots. Transit is available through the Canada line or one of the bus hubs.

The fries is soggy because of the moisture trapped in the box after 5 mins drive back to home. The old way make the fries more enjoyable..today ordered the fries..all wet...so disgusting. You guys charge more than mcdonald. The fries is soggy..totally unacceptable.

Fries no more enjoyable than McDonald's fries; so-called Premium Dog no more delicious than Costco hotdog. Located in food court in Richmond Centre.
