Review Kung Fu Noodle - Richmond

we tried this place as recommended by a friend. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. It has the typical noodle style from Northern China and personally speaking, it is less appealing compared with the noodles found in South China.

The food was just ok, nothing special, cheap and large portion, for sure will make you full. The server was not exactly polite

My colleagues and I come to this place at least twice a week for lunch. Nice noodle soup and fried rice dishes.

We ordered a bamboo dish that looked nice and red and juicy in the menu's picture, but came out to be black. Luckily, the bamboo was mostly tender, but very salty. <br/>I would suggest that service needs to be improved. For example, there were two waitresses who appeared to be chatting in the corner of the room, and it was hard to get their attention. Also, when my father (a little hard of hearing) asked the waitress who delivered the dish to repeat the name of a dish, she replied with a little roll of her eyes -- overall not very professional.

so then was in the area and was going for something that is fast and asian, so here it's and while it's definitely not the best option, but was in a time rush and didn't want to compromise for fast food like mcdonalds, and even though it's more pricy than fast food i still think in the end is still worth it. definitely okay, the broth is on the blander side, but it fits the dish with the meat that is not really seasoned as well. all in all it's decent quick eat.

What a let down. Let's get to the point- the noodles were TERRIBLE. Both shaved and pulled were so many different sizes and thickness that each dish had raw, undercooked noodles as well as noodles that were over cooked to very mushy. It was as if an apprentice that was trying to learn to make handmade noodles made them. Considering it's their whole menu and there's pictures of Mr. Big Chef in his big white hat making noodles everywhere, they might want to actually make them edible. The broth of the spicy lamb soup was delicious. The flavour of everything was fine, but how could I possibly enjoy that?! And let's not forget to mention the bags of garbage on the floor, leaking onto said floor, and the cart piled with dirty dishes in the hall on the way to the bathroom. This place will never survive Richmond's competition.

Their food is not bad. Actually their handmade noodles are exceptional. However they really need to train their servers to be like some real servers. Swearing at the customers is pretty embarrassing. <br/>食物跟面都好好吃的。但是服務的態度真的是有夠差,跟客人對罵還私下辱罵客人。

Love having lunch / dinner at this place ! <br/><br/>Their food is exceptional, especially the handcut noodle . <br/><br/>Parking spot is really hard to find for the little plaza, sometimes I have to park at somewhere else and walk here. <br/><br/>Tge only down side is the service . The service is lacking, <br/><br/>Overall I would still recommend this restaurant . Best noodle in richmond !

We intended to go for dinner at Cattle Cafe on Alexandra Road on a weekend. But we were surprised to see that it has been replaced by another cafe. So, we went to Kungfu Noodle next door with the consent of the boys. Nanzaro ordered the Kungfu Dark Fried Rice. This is more like Malaysian style fried rice. Nanzaro said he even sensed a hint of belacan in it.

Waste of time. The servers are terrible. They messed up our order and didn't fix it or take it off our bill. They didn't even apologize. Worst service ever. Mediocre food. There are much better restaurants out there. Don't waste your time on this place unless you like crappy service with a bad attitude. <br/><br/>It was empty when we got there at dinner time. I understand now why that is so.

Bad waitressing. The Cantonese-like girl gave me the wrong kind of noodle I ordered, and she NEVER refill my tea nor water. Look on her face looks like I owe her a million dollar...food was average but a bit salty...overall not really good place for lunch

My guest and I drove around Alexander in Richmond, undecided over what we wanted for dinner. Looking for something that would suit our appetites, “Kung Fu Noodle” eventually caught our eye. It was catchy from its name alone, but with its panda mascot, the deal was sealed. The panda was the loveable Kungfu panda from the animated movie of the same name. He stood like “Po” and seemed to have an appetite like “Po”, but unlike “Po” he choose noodles over dumplings. I couldn’t help but wonder the restaurant legality for using this imagine in their marketing. The restaurant was your standard Chinese casual cafe set up. An open square of space with several tables, each set uniformly apart. The concern was more for function than for form, everything was made accessible and visible. The recycled tin can with chopsticks protruding, the stack of leaning styrofoam take out boxes, the push cart stacked with used dishes, and the black plastic bags of garbage ready to be tossed. It was one thing to be on the cleaner side, a fact noted and appreciated by all their customers, but it is another to have to watch the room being cleaned as you are eating. Cleaning was an on going task, completed by a very vigilant server. She was using all her down time between serving guests to mop up, sweep right, or wipe down. That is when she wasn’t hunched over the counter, responding to texts from her dinging cellular phone. We watched her pushing a bucket of mop water across the room, and adding dust to the growing pile at the bottom of her pink dustpan. Once again I repeat, function over form. Even the staff were dressed down: casual in sweatpants and comfy in house slippers. Their wardrobe choice gave them plenty of flex for the chores above. However what I found unprofessional and hampering in my dining experience, they saw as a common place practice. At least they choose constant busy work over congregating and chatting in the centre of the room. Similarly, the decor was more geared towards p

Ben picked Hollywood Steak House for lunch on a Saturday. It’s been a long time since he ate here.
