I am a member and I go several times a year. There is a fabulous collection of totem poles, masks, gold and silver jewelry from Pacific North West Coast. Also beautiful art and cultural objects from around the world. Rotating shows and videos. You can spend many enjoyable hours here, inside and outd
Very nice layout. Major focus on the culture of First Nations peoples native to this area. But there is also a tucked away room with hundreds upon hundreds of small statues, sculptures, pots, paintings, and clothing from different cultures around the world. I don't think I've ever seen a museum fit
Amazing historical artifacts and stories of native peoples experiences both good and hideous treatment they received on a massive scale with regard to residential schools. I did enjoy learning about potlatches. Wonderful place to see. I am gladdened to see the preservation and pride of their culture

A great place to visit in UBC. You can get a walking tour of the famous campus at the same time. We enjoyed the museum and there are tons of interesting items to see. Planning to go back in the summer.
Excellent museum! It has so many aboriginal artefacts that you'll have a hard time viewing them all in one day. It is also very affordable and a beautiful building. All on one floor for those with mobility issues.
It was beautiful day when I visited here. The exhibition were so interesting that mixed Canadian culture and all over the world. I saw one exhibition was soo impressed that was to try to bring the action to stop a violences. Resonate with me.
