Review Yuan's Chuan Chuan Xiang - Richmond

A fun place for family hotpot, with lots of fresh meat, fish and vegetable options and a $0.99 skewer system where you can customize your items exactly to your mood. Very spacious and clean, with friendly attentive service. We were able to get a half meat and half vegetarian pot to cater to our family’s needs. Ended up being around $25/person for a full grown adult male to have a full stomach.

First time trying this restaurant. The food was tasty enough. Price was okay, keep in mind dining out prices have gone up 40-100% thanks to reckless irresponsible fiscal and monetary government policies.

First time had food at Yuan’s Chuan Chuan Xiang, the food was so tasty. My friend and I ordered Double flavour pot soup base with some stick vegetables and meat. The spicy soup was really authentic Sichuan style hot and non-spicy soup was very tasty with strong flavour. I love the non-spicy soup so much even though spicy is my favourite. The prices the food were not so expensive. Since the restaurant just opened few month ago, the environment was quite of clean. After the first time, we decided to come back again.

Amazing dinging experience, very good hygiene and delicious food! It’s my first time trying hot pot that has “can of sesame oil”, many of their sauces are stored in sealed containers. Which i think make more sense when it comes to hygiene! The skewers are well marinated, and unlike other BBQ skewer places, you actually cooking your skewers in the hot pot! The appetizer - fried dishes are average, there’s no wow but not too bad

Nice and clean environment, authentic taste of Sichuan food, fast and professional service, and reasonable price. The only thing I don't quite like is the variety of dipping sauce (蘸酱), which could use more flavor.

Authentic Sichuanese style hotpot! They give you 5 dollar coupon if you wait for less than 30 mins, $10 if 30mins+! Love their Ice Jelly and Fried Egg Noodles! Love their marinated spicy beef, chicken skins, ribs, etc. They allow you to order a single skewer for most of the items, great if you want varieties.
