Went there early this week. Place was renovated it’s clean, neat, decent and servers are welcoming with the smile on everyone’s face. The place is comfy. I ordered the pork knuckle and it’s soooo good. It’s crispy outside but very tender and soft inside and it’s juicy. And I have to emphasise that the milk tea is a must have too. I haven’t been there for a few months but I’ll definitely go again. Good food good service. Only thing is it’s difficult to park your car well guess coz they’re busy with high traffic. I’d rather spend time on finding parking spot then going to some shitty place coz it’s easy to find parking. You’re there to eat not to park afterall. It worths the effort

Really good service and meals that are highly customizable. My dad is a vegetarian and the manager always helps him create delicious vegetarian dishes based on items listed in the menu.
The place is clean and the food is savoury. Great for families with children who love meal combos!

One of the best Hong Kong style cafe in Richmond. A bit on the pricy side, but is offering good steady quality. Their steak combos and Hainanese chicken are my favorite.

Really impressed with the service. The restaurant was already filled up when we got there. Though only a few servers and one manager attending the customers during the lunch hour, they still managed to keep their cool and friendliness without looking frustrated. Food was pretty decent and portion was okay.

Formerly known as "Bauhinia". Formerly known as Bauhinia, RedBud offers alot of the same menu items under their new ownership. They carry well-prepared dishes cooked to perfection. And the manager is always friendly, professional, warm, and welcoming with a smile. Plus there's convenient free parking in the front.

I would say this is a higher quality Hong Kong Cafe restaurant. Their bun that came with the soup was super delicous. It was like a homemade sweet bun, soft and fluffy, like those Chinese bakery savory buns only with no filling. The soup tasted very flavourful and was not too salty and veggie rich. The ox tail in wine sauce with garlic veggies and spaghetti was DELISH. The ox tail was very tender and disintegrates with your fork poking it since that's how soft and tender and buttery the meat is. The only downside was my almond tea was too watered down... Like not enough almond powder mix that it basically tasted like water with faint almond flavoring. Otherwise, a good place for a standard nice dinner.

Been coming here on and off since the Bauhimia/Bauhinia days at the original location. I can only speak for the western dishes which consistently offer great flavours and good value for one of the better "HK cafes" around. The photos are one of the specials on the set NYE menu: duck wellington which was delicious (if you like beef wellington). Seafood salad was good and chowder was ok as starters.

Classic Hong Kong style bistro focused on "western" plates such as steak and rice, pan fried chicken or seafoods in sauces, or baked rice/spaghetti with creamy sauces. They also serve Cantonese classic fried noodles and rice dishes. Good HK style coffee and teas as well. Flavors are on the mild side and overall quality is good.

Excellent option for HK cafe meals. Tasty food and above average level of service compare to others.

Good braised pork belly with preserved vegetables. The pork belly had a good ratio of fat to lean meat and the dish wasn't overly salty. Their baked tomato pork chop rice is good, as is their cream sauce baked rice. Their salmon fried rice is average and lacks flavour. The spam and egg sandwich was really good. The egg was a fried egg and not the scrambled egg that I was expecting but it was still tasty. The morning glory with beef was okay but the beef could have been more tender.

This is one of a few Hong Kong Style Cafe left in town. Redbud has always been consistent with their food quality and service, within a strip mall sharing with 7-11 and a popular Chinese Restaurant next door, parking can be an issue if you come during peak hours or weekends, luckily there are some street parking nearby. Must order dishes: German Style Pork Hock, Grilled NY Steak with Black Peppercorn Sauce!
