I had my bridal shower high tea theme baking from this shop and also my wedding cake. The were so professional and so kind, my husband and I loved our cake and had so much fun cake tasting with them. The funnest pre wedding thing we did was cake tasting with them. I would highly recommend her. Fantastic experience :)

Absolutely adorable! Beautiful cake designs and yummy treats! The staff are great and usually have little samples to try. My go-to items are the cheese croissants and whatever mini chocolate dessert she has prepared!

A cute cake shop with tasty goodies. Bumped into the place waiting for my appointment next door. enjoyed the scone that I ordered and the peek into the really big kitchen with lots of baking equipment. Good place for casual hangout with friends in Steveston. BTW, their design cakes look amazing.

A must when visiting Steveston. A welcomed change from the many chain coffee shops in the area. Quaint decor, clean, comfy seating, and a good selection of hot drinks and treats made this a delightful shelter from the rain! We had a salted caramel and pumpkin cheesecake and a cheesecake brownie... delicious!

Great custom cakes... They made our wedding cake. Its a shame they are closing their store front. I will definitely order birthday cakes in the future.

Ferrero cake is amazing!

I love Steveston with all my heart. Most especially, I love the mom and pop shoppes that open up and I love patronizing them when I can. True to my word, I popped into Sugar 'n Ice today to try them out. The decor is nice and clean, but something about the space feels empty. The service was great and was probably their saving grace from receiving 1 or 2 stars from me. Decor, ambience, and service aside, the real reason one visits such a shop is the food. I could easily go to a hole in the wall, spend $15, and be satisfied for days -- both taste and quality wise. Instead what I received here for $15 was a beautifully decorated Ferrero Roche mini cake and an apple brie panini. Let's start with the cake: I absolutely love hazelnut chocolate cakes. They are my favorite. This particular cake, however, while beautiful, was 3 layers of Nutella buttercream (heavy on the use of butter) sandwiched between 3 thin layers of chocolate cake. On top of the cake sat a halved Ferrero Roche and 2 small pieces of rolled hazelnut cookies. All 3 toppings were soggy and had lost their crispness, probably from sitting in the cooler and being half submerged in icing. The sandwich, well, was literally two slices of bread with apples and brie. For $7.50. As I said, I love Steveston and I love when mom and pop shops succeed, so hopefully this spot can take some of this criticism and advice and improve their products. In regard to the cake: try a chocolate with chopped hazelnut ganache instead of the buttercream. And do not top the cake until you're ready to serve it, to avoid soggy toppings. As for the sandwich, add something to spice it up. Caramelized onions and pepper jelly or fig jelly with some arugula. These simple changes will not only elevate your dishes but make them worth the $7 or even more! Wishing you success!

Beautiful decor & ambiance. If you're looking for a cute little spot to grab treats with a friend or even just enjoy a some on your own, this little shop in Steveston definitely takes the cake! The custom cakes they make are beautiful and have always been the perfect missing piece to any celebration. I like the variety and how there are different items day to day, it is always a pleasant surprise when visiting this sweet spot. Every time I take a stroll in Steveston I make sure to pop by! Keep up the great work :)

Sugar 'n Ice is amazing!! I ordered a variety of cupcakes for my dads 60th birthday, Ferrero, Strawberries & Cream, Apple pie, and Grand Marnier with chocolate, all were absolutely delicious!! Not only did they taste good, they were gorgeous! A big hit for the party! I would definitely recommend Sugar 'n Ice for any event!

For the past three years I have been ordering personalized cakes for my family and friends from sugar n ice and I'm speechless at how amazing my experience has been! The cakes are always detailed and designed to perfection,they taste really good and whoever receives the cake always loves the personalized effect and enjoys the taste. The service is always friendly, open and willing to do new ideas and always on time! Anyone who wishes to make someone's birthday a little more special I suggest you order cakes from here or even drop by the bakery for the delicious baked goods right in the heart of steveston!

I ordered cakes in jars and macarons from Amira. The macarons were a huge hit and everyone loved them!! The cakes in jars were gifted to the guests and they all messaged me the same night saying how delicious they were!!! Sugar n' Ice is also such a cute store, totally adorable!! (:

I've been in here once or twice. It was a few days new. It was the best late and the cake and macaroon was soooo delicious. I look forward to going back or ordering a special occasion cake. :)
