Truly a hidden treasure. I wouldn't have found it if I wasn't in the area but they have the best sandwiches I've had in a loong time. Fresh vegetables, delicious meats, and just the right amount of sauce.
They also let you choose what type of bread you would like.
The bibimbab on their specials menu was delicious with a perfectly cooked sunny side egg with a runny yolk. 🤤 Tastes like genuine mom's cooking Korean food.
I have already gone out of my way in Richmond to get a sandwich and will do it again.

Take some time to take in all the options, there is a lot going on when you first get in there. It took me a moment to realize what was going on, but I'm pleasantly surprised with the home cooked quality and generous portions. This place is certainly a mom and pop shop, but don't be scared of the unknown, I'm sure you find something familiar in there with such a diverse menu of options and friendly service. I'll be back, since it really is a stark contrast to McDonald's variety, and all-in a notch above!! Thanks so much for the great lunch today!!

Currently closed due to health code violation. Mixed reviews here. Marginally expensive for medium quality food. Some specials are ok like the Ukrainian special is filling.

Usually happy with the place. Today I ordered the Tuna Sandwich special with soup and asked for cheese. Not only did I get processed singles cheddar but charged and additional $1.00 per piece. In addition, the two slices of bread it was made on were two different sizes. A meal which was to cost $7.25 cost me almost $10. SO much for a Tuesday special. Not impressed.

Sandwich tree is a great, friendly, lunch cafe for dine in or take out, that always has 4 or 5 ready made hot lunch specials. The food is consistently yummy. Their sandwiches and grilled food is always great, and freshly made in 5 minutes.

Pay the Same Price for Smaller Portion - Really Unfair!. The customer ahead of me ordered a fried rice with chicken and vegetable combo. The foods looks nice so I ordered the same, but my portions were much smaller - perhaps they saw me as a small female. Regardless a good restaurant should be fair to all its customers. <br/><br/>Staffs are friendly.<br/><br/>I find the foods are too salty for me.

HUGE improvement. This place has improved immensely since being taken over by new owners. The menu is great, the food is fresh and delicious and the prices are back to reasonable levels. I work around the corner and look for excuses to eat out for lunch.
