This spot has moved a few times.. from Aberdeen mall, then from Alexandria Road just down a few blocks at it's current location. Yeah, it's a little divey, but you seriously cant find better "wind sand" deep fried chicken wings anywhere else. These crispy addictive wings are marinated in a top secret mix, with some fermented tofu that adds a crazy punch of unami. Wash it down with a honk long style milk tea (we got a cold one as it's like 40C out today in this current summer heat wave), and they have nice cold iced lemon teas as well for the lactose sensitive.

Exceptional broth, great choices for toppings and noodles. Wings are some of the best in town. Deep fried squid is delicious. Love the new space!

Came here on a late Sunday afternoon and it's past the lunch hour but we still needed to line up for a table. Fortunately the wait was not too long for the 2 of us. We ordered 3 pieces of the their famous deep fried chicken wings, along with the noodle combos (which comes with hot/cold drinks). The chicken wings were not bad but not outstanding (nothing can go wrong with deep fried). We like the choices of the toppings for the noodles because they are not the ones you usually see in other fish noodle places. The portion is just right so you wouldn't feel stuffed and bloated afterwards. I would definitely come back again.

If you are a fan of the famous ‘fried chicken wings’ from Wo Fung Noodle Express in Aberdeen Center, you’re going to be happy to know that they have opened up two stand alone noodle shops in Richmond! The first location opened up on Alexandra road (read my post about it here), and the second, newest location is on Park Road right next to Kumare.

Knowing that they are famous with their Deep Fried Chicken Wing, we went there on a Sunday lunch time, a table for 2.

Ordered (of course) their signature dish : DF Chicken Wings; 2 bowls of "Mix & Match Noodles" - a bowl with Beef Tendon, Curried Fish Balls & Pig Skin in thick rice noodles; another bowl with Squid, Beef Omasum & Beef Honeycomb Tripe in oil noodles.

The DF Chicken Wings were tasty (positive). Beef Tendon was also good (positive), Curried Fish Balls were ok. However, I did not like the way they serve the Pig Skin - the texture was not tendor enough, they were cut in stripes & not in slices (negative). Squid was tasteless (negative).  Beef Omasum was ok.  Beef Tripes were a bit too fatty, cut in slices instead of in stripes (negative). They should exchange the cutting method between the Pig Skin & Beef Tripes.

It was a Sunday busy afternoon but the service was good (many of the servers were part-time students, I guess). They were very attentive and pleasant. Kudos to them!

Overall comment : not as good as what I expected

Wo Fung Noodle House 和豐車仔麵 has relocated its location. It is currently on Park Road which is closer by Richmond Centre. It usually gets very busy on the weekend. Parking is typically a challenge in Richmond.

We came for their deep fried chicken wings 風沙雞翼 and deep fried stuffed tofu 炸釀豆腐. It was no doubt they were fresh, juicy and flavourful.

If you are looking for a quick and cheap meal, this is the place for you!

Food: deep fried dishes 4.5/5; noodles and drinks 4/5
Services: 3.5/5
Parking: 2.5/5
