Thai Son Restaurant - Richmond - Photo album

Wow!!! The shrimp, pork, and bean sprout filled Vietnamese Crepe is amazing! It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and huge! Great portions and fresh food. Also has all the usual Pho place staples. The egg yolk condensed milk soda was delicious too and tasted like you were drinking white
Food tastes great and generous serving. Restaurant was busy so obviously, regulars always come back for more. I was just surprised because of the name "Thai Son". I thought it was a "Thai" restaurant but it was Vietnamese :)
Update: Come today and improve, the fish sauce is luscious, and the seafood noodle is great with the broth. Good job. delicious food at a very cheap price compared to the common ground, delicious spring rolls with Vietnamese flavor, I ordered com rib skin but only had ribs rice, the restaurant shou
I ordered #11, noodle with raw beef, tendon and tripe. The quality of beef is not good, it was chewy. The tripe was not fully cooked, it was rubbery. The pork chop with rice #44 tastes bad. The rice was watery, the shredded pork smells bad and tastes equally bad. The shrimp/beef roll is bland, peanu
Ordered a pork chop rice. The meat did not taste fresh and a bit dry. The combo set also came with vermicelli chicken and steamed pork with egg. The pork chop tasted lots of msg I did not like the deep fried spring roll, I prefer if they had used rice paper to do the spring rolls.
It’s my go to place for Vietnamese food. They are so consistent and always satisfying and complete. They serve consume and fried egg (#46) on entree at a very affordable price. Two locations of thai son; Richmond & sw marine but exactly the same satisfaction.. 😋
Relatively cheap and nice quality of Vietnamese food. I always get their pho, the flavour is light and not over powering. Also have had their rice plate, a very big portion, usually last me 2 meals ! So far with my multiple visits, service is fast and quality has been the same. One thing is cash o
Food here is unfortunately middling. Salad wraps? Rather tasteless. Rice dish with porkchop and chicken? Dry. Meatballs in the pho? Overcooked. Overall? It's fine, but I'd rather spend my stomach space on something else if I were you.
