Review Szechuan Delicious Restaurant - Richmond

So glad they reopened again! Went back for the first time in years and the quality/taste were just what we remembered. The portions are very decent, the taste authentic, and the price is simply unbeatable in this day and age. We ordered 水煮鱼,辣子鸡,鱼香肉丝,and 川北凉粉 with 3 bowls of rices for only $52! The services were pretty good as well, didn't get what other reviewers were saying. In short, we have nothing but good things to say about the restaurant.

Best quality authentic Sichuan food for its price. This is honestly my favourite restaurant in Richmond. I was so sad when they closed before, glad to see they’re back in business! Service is great, though I don’t know how well they can speak in English since we spoke in Mandarin. We ordered their 4 people meal (see attached photos) 6 dishes for $52 before tax. We’ll be visiting here more often now that they’re back in business!

It was okay. The service is bad.and some dishes were too sweet, some too oily.I wouldn't come here again.

Absolute garbage. The staff has no respect. We went there, unfortunately without much cash, but we have some money in WeChat pay. And we offered to pay the bills partially with cash rest with WeChat. Declined. Then we wanted to order the combo, but wanted to change the white rice into fried rice and pay more for that. They said no but not just no: they said the rice is free with the combo, if you don’t want it, you don’t have to eat it, but you need to order fired rice separately like in the most disrespectful way possible. First of all, small business takes no credit card to save transaction fees, that is of course allowed but considered bad business practice in banking industry. Then they only take cash not even debit card possibly for tax evasion to be honest. Much disappointed. Minus 5 star, and honestly I should report to CRA.

Just like the name says “DELICIOUS”. Excellent authentic Szechuan food and crazy affordable. We ate at the restaurant, very clean and not busy for sit down. Seemed busy for take away. You can get the combos for take away as well expect for no rice. Not a deal breaker. Will be returning many times.

Everything is very authentic. We loved the chicken and lamb however the egg plant and noodles were slightly too sweet for my personal liking. Definitely recommend to those looking for an authentic, spicy food place.

OMG Best SiChuan food so far in Vancouver! 2 person combo, comes at roughly 20 bucks, the QUANTITY is really good:)) The taste? Legit and superb, that’s all what I can say. Parking might be a bit issue, but still I will for sure come to this place again! Overall, Decent Quality, and Generous Quantity.

Authentic Szechuan food unfortunately not as spicy as the old location

Overpriced for the amount of food you get. Ordered take out and the online price was way different than the charged price when picked up. This is not authentic Szechuan food, it's someones adaptation of it. Also, when asked about the online price they became very defensive with attitude.   Sorry won't go back.   Plenty of better restaurants to go to in Richmond.

Definitely a hole in the wall. Food was very good and the prices were even better! Loved the Kung pao chicken. Restaurant was busy with many people on a Sunday night so that tells you it's a local favorite. Just keep in mind to stay away if you can't easy spicy foods!

Excellent food and great prices. This place is a hidden gem on Richmond. Amazing food, full of flavor and great service. When you enter, be prepared to be greeted by a sight of chilies that are being prepared for the kitchen. Tried their famous chili fish, Kung pao chicken, tan tan noodles and fried rice. Perfectly cooked and nicely spiced. A word of caution about the tan tan noodles, unlike the peanut sauce that most places make, they use a spicy oil (very very hot). Next time I will tell them to tone down the spice but it was delicious. Can't wait to go back !!

Finally. Exactly what I was looking for: spicy, seasoned perfectly, hearty, quality ingredients. This place has literally nothing inside but tables, and who cares- the food is the star here and it's all you need. Mapo tofu was a powerhouse of silky tofu, rich chilli oil, and soft meat. Tan tan noodles smelled like heaven and tasted like it too. Unlike most places the noddles were the perfect springy  texture. Beef and green onion on sizzling plate (while it wasn't served on a sizzling plate- the dinner's only let down) was much higher quality beef than most places, and the wok flavour was killer. Every dish was spot on. Cannot wait to go back. So glad I finally tried this place. $27 for 2 people- can't beat the price for that quality.

Szechuan Delicious Restaurant  is very small but it still got plenty of fans. Szechuan spicy bean jelly  川北涼粉  We can see this cold appetizer on almost every tables. Tastes good after stirred well. Spicy sliced fish with soft tofu  天府豆花魚  Very spicy>< even we have ordered mild spicy… The fish fillets are all very large.    Szechuan Style fried pork intestine  干煸肥腸  Rich in flavor but very dry and the texture is not good… Not recommended.   To conclude, the food is not bad and is reasonably priced. We have made a mistake and didn’t try their signature, which is a pity.   Szechuan Delicious Restaurant  一品川菜  (604) 276-1780 6610 No. 3 Road  Richmond, BC

What a surprise! A tiny hole in the wall located in a strip mall and I was impressed! I like to do some research before going into a restaurant, but this was a random visit. Being in Richmond, BC I had a craving for Asian food which was very convenient since Richmond is the hub for it. My craving was for Shanghainese cuisine and I wanted to try something new, and I assumed this spot would have been a Shanghainese restaurant.

This is a new Sichuan restaurant just opened in Richmond. In my world, this location is unique. To me this location is an restaurant incubator of sorts. Over the years, this location had spawned off many successful restaurants. Just to name a few, this location is where the Danny's Wun Tun, Chen's Shanghai , Shanghai Wonderful and Shanghai River had their early humbler days. At the same mention, this location is also the site of two unsuccessful restaurants for the past two years or so. Firstly, it was Da Hong Yun and then a month ago, Shanghai JJ also closed. We noticed that the Shanghai JJ signboard was no longer there when we drove by in the morning of March 20th. In its place is a new signboard that says Szechuan Delicious Restaurant. So we planned to have dinner there since we like Sichuan restaurant and we did not want to go back again and again to our favourite Sichuan restaurants and not blog about it. In case you are curious, our favourite Sichuan Richmond restaurants that we
