Review Wheat House Pizza - Richmond

Mom and pop shop with some very different flavour options for pizza. Had the Japanese teriyaki chicken option. For the pizza adventurous who are looking for something different!

I like PIZZA of here! I recommend thin-style japanese pizza. It's sooooo delicious!!

Was one of the worst pizza's I've eaten in recent memory. I ordered a meat lovers pizza and it had no cheese on it and only had 6 of the smallest pieces of what I think was pepperoni, definitely didn't taste like pepperoni. My friend also order a cheese pizza, we've never seen a cheese pizza without any cheese before and it had the thinnest layer of tomato sause on it. This place has gone way downhill since new ownership.

The owner is nice and staffs are so friendly. Love their Japanese style pizza" Teriyaki chicken pizza"! They have other flavours for you to try as well. They have lunch special for $5 only ! (November)

I got a pepperoni pizza. Nice crispy thin crust , quickly made while we waited. The sauce and cheese were good. Unfortunately, the meat was bland. I don't like really hot food, but eyes closed, I couldn't have guessed it was pepperoni.

We ordered through Doordash for a combo but only received one pizza from the carrier. I called the shop to ask about the missing items and the gentleman on the phone said they have only receive a small pizza order and claim that it’s doordash fault that messes up their menu system. He told me there is nothing he can do about it after I gave him my carrier’s number and did not offer me a solution for the issue. At the end I decided to just ask for a refund for the rest of my money because I’ve already been charged and we have already been going back and forth about this. He asked me to talk to doordash customer service about it which I did after we hang up and got my money back eventually. The pizza itself is not the best like all the recent reviews said. but the whole doordash and the restaurant situation itself upsets me more as it sounded like it’s something they have been aware of since he tell me doordash is confusing for them and people usually order through ubereats blah blah, but I don’t think it should be the customers responsibility to resolve that issue and it was frustrating as all I wanted was to get my food or my money back and that shouldn’t be something that takes me almost half an hour to resolve myself.

The Best there is. I have been eating this pizza since 1987. Admittedly nostalgic. First spot I eat upon landing in Vancouver. What a great place. Crust and sauce are unreal. Can't say enough.

Wheat House Pizza is the most reliable shop in terms of pizza quality, they have good customer service and fast delivery. They have been my meal providers for years and will be for the time ahead. Definitely recommended.
