They made their croissant in house. It seems too good that i can't resist order one ham and cheese croissant. It taste as good as it smells! Staff is also super friendly! I also order a ice latte which is also amazing. Totally will come back

Richmond does not have a lot good non-chain coffee shops so we were happy to see this place by Lansdowne Mall. It is a small shop run by a couple. The owner pays a lot of attention when making the drinks. We ordered a latte and matcha latte. Both had nice looking latte art. There's not a lot of seating though. Just a table and a small counter by the window for maybe 3 people. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Great place with great tasting coffee and dessert. I ordered the Caramel Machiatto and the Uji Matcha cake. This was great tasting coffee compared to other brands. The beans they used were rly good. But the match cake delish~~ Very smooth but not too smooth. The only caveat is the place is too small and not really convenient. Skytrain station is quite far. Still worth coming just to get the coffee and cake.

Coming straight from Australia to here, this was my first stop coming out of the airport from an early flight and I was not disappointed. Home made almond milk a real treat. Also picked up a top class grinder that I wanted for my trip too. Don’t settle for less!

Great caffe latte and a very relaxing atmosphere. Seating is limited so keep that in mind if you want to dine in and there's a 1.5 hour max for seating.

Javelin and I come here everyday for latte, Jennifer customize the flavor for our best experience by measuring how many grams of honey we love the most. We also love croissant and waffle so much, they are both house made and I guess Jennifer use her unique recipe to make it so special. Raymond cares every single customer and make us feel very warm. Since we moved to Richmond, we rarely make coffee at home and just drop by here for a must have coffee.

There are just a handful of specialty coffee shops in Richmond, and Fresh Press is one of my favourites to visit. They’ve got a great rotating lineup featuring coffee from across Canada and whether espresso or filter coffee, you can’t go wrong. It’s tucked away in an unassuming nook, giving it hidden gem vibes. A great spot to follow up after dim sum at Sun Sui Wah :)

I seldom write reviews, but this coffee bar is full of love. The owner puts in a lot of love in every little detail that brings people joy. This is different from all the other popular fancy cafes that I’ve been. Please keep the passion and bring more joy to us!

Delicious, smooth, dark roast perfect for iced drinks (and they have almond milk!). Cute, edgy space and friendly atmosphere. :) Best coffee place in Richmond that I've found!

I was so happy to find delicious artisanal micro roasted coffee in Richmond!!!

Poured a wonderful pourover with some Kafka Honduras. The pour was unorthodox--long, but totally worth it. Everyone should give it a shot, not just your average run of the mill espresso drinks! Wish it was bigger; definitely coming back.

I love hand poured coffee using Chemex. Owner is very nice and friendly. It is the only place in center Richmond that I can enjoy 'slow coffee'.

The attendant here is super friendly, polite and helpful. The customer service level here is spectacular. I ordered a large 16 oz latte with whole milk through the app called JoJo. Currently, Jojo give out 5 dollar for downloading their app and give them a try. Jojo is just like justEat, except you can only come and pick up your order. There is no delivery option.<br/><br/>Nevertheless, let get back to the coffee. The coffee is freshly brew. Although, I am not a big fan of coffee, I find the latte here is great in taste. This place also have non dairy option so that you can substitue milk for almond milk or soy milk. I find that is a great option that gives flexibility to those that are allergic to dairy or simply are vegetarians. The place is clean with a very nice and light freshly baked bakery mixed with ground ground coffee type of scent. This smell can make you hungry for food or wanting a coffee. <br/><br/>Thank you to JoJo, the app, I now know a new hidden coffee gem. Btw, the service here is fast. Will definitely come back here in the future to give their other coffee, non coffee beverage and snack out. <br/>

Super friendly owner that knows how to make super delicious coffee. Seriously the best in Richmond if you want good coffee. A bit tricky to find and also to find parking but definitely worth the visit!

This is their brêvé, which is 2 ounces espresso and 2 ounces half and half (I think those were the volumes the barista told me she would use). It’s so much richer and smoother than using milk or cream, but I don’t think I would drink it in a larger volume than what Fresh Press offered (notice the tiny cup), just because of all the fat and calories in half and half. Adding half and half to my grocery list and opening up the Nespresso milk frother now.

I really don't expect much from an Espresso Bar in the middle of Richmond where Chinese food rules! But Fresh Press Coffee Bar is just a pleasant surprise!<br/><br/>2 kind of Singl beans with different tasting profile to choose from Mellow or Bold? regardless what espresso drink you order! I usually like a bolder flavour for my cappuccino drink vs a pour over. (+1) And if you opt for V60 Pour Over, the barista would match that with another bean.<br/><br/>Milk foamed perfectly with skilled latte art. <br/><br/>I usually don't order any pastry at Coffee Shop but the Coconut Macaroon deserves a shoutout. <br/><br/>The shop is small but cozy. Tucked near the back of Lansdowne Strip Mall. <br/><br/>Highly recommend if you are in the area!

The owner apologizes. Making Mike's Chemex brewed coffee, she's moving slowly behind the counter, explaining she's feeling out of sorts. Having just had her wisdom teeth removed yesterday, she's surprised to be in a lot of pain. She's trying not to talk too much.Questa is the daughter and co-owner of the mother-daughter team  for Fresh Press Coffee Bar. She disarms us with her honest self-deprecation: this girl is friendly, chatty - and highly functional, quite frankly - even after some major dental work. Her dad briefly appears behind the counter then rushes off. She says he doesn't work here, just drops by for his morning coffee.About a year old, Fresh Press gives equal attention to coffee and tea aficionados. This Richmond café is Stop 38 in our weekly Search for Vancouver's Best Coffee.

Fresh press is a new concept in Richmond, which is great for a place that seems to be lacking in quality artisanal coffee. They get their coffee locally, and also offer waffles from a local bakery that pairs well with their coffee. Definitely a great option for anyone in the area looking for a solid fix of caffeine.

This is now one of my favourite spots in Richmond. Tucked into a corridor inside a popular plaza, Fresh Press is the perfect place to meet with friends or to get some work done (as I'm suppose to be doing right now). I'm sipping a coconut matcha tea latte as I'm writing this, procrastinating from an assignment whose deadline is fast approaching.  It's sweet but not too sweet. It's creamy. the ambiance is absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely be revisiting.

A cute & quiet coffee place, love the atmosphere. I am not really a coffee drinker, but they have plenty of other drink choices. I ended up picking the Shanghai Fog (tea latte) amongst many other different tea lattes. It was definitely a pleasant surprise! Was hoping that I could get a waffle to try, but they ran out today :(<br/>Will definitely return as it is a great place to study or catch up with some friends!

Best coffee on the earth. I have the opportunity to travel internationally as I work with the airlines, and find this coffee the best I have tried on many continents. I particularly love the consciousness involved from the origin of the bean to the pouring of the coffee. I believe Questa is like a Somalia of coffee. Don't miss this place.

Hidden gem in Richmond. What a pleasant surprise to find a real coffee bar in the heart of Richmond! We have dedicated this holiday break to try out different coffee bars in Vancouver and only by searching online did we realize there's a coffee bar in Richmond. It's inside this hallway of this plaza across from Lansdowne Mall that we never go to so we have not noticed it before. And we're glad we found it because this will be our go-to coffee bar from now on! It's a cozy quaint little coffee shop with minimalist décor. We tried the pour over (Ethiopian) and London fog and they're both so good! I honestly have to say it's the best London fog I've ever tasted!! They have pastries and waffles which we didn't have a chance to try this time but we'll definitely return to try their pastries as well as the affogato. I'm so happy Fresh Press Coffee Bar is bringing real coffee scene into Richmond!!

Awesome London Fogg!. When this place opened, I visited and, being more a tea guy, I opted for the London Fogg. When I took a sip, I immediately fell in love. The foam on top was not bland like others I've tasted but mildly creamy. The taste of the tea itself was a perfect balance of milk and tea (others I've tasted have been overly milky).<br/><br/> Sitting inside a quaint, minimalistic coffee shop with a soothing atmosphere was absolutely tranquil. I certainly enjoy visiting this place as it's a nice change from the other strong coffee fumed shops in Richmond. I certainly recommend this place if one wishes to enjoy the quality of one's coffee over other popular coffee shops.

A quaint, modern speciality cafe in the bustling core of Golden Village. The menu was simple with features that change weekly. This cafe is a good place to get away from the crowds of the big chain coffee shops and offers free WIFI to customers. Mother and daughter owned and features local roasted coffee from East Van Roasters and house made treats. <br/>When I entered the cafe I was warmly greeted by, who I assume was, the daughter. <br/>I initially ordered the almond croissant, but was informed that it is one of their most popular treats and was sold out for the day. In the end I ordered the London fog latte (with almond milk. Their other alternative option was skim milk) and the ginger sugar cookie. <br/>The sugar cookie was delicious. Not too sweet, even with the rock sugar on top, and a subtle hint of spice with a great soft, chewy texture. <br/>The latte was leaps and bound over the chains. With freshly steeped tea made from loose leaf and a perfect about of foam. It looses some of it's complex flavors because of the almond milk (something I'm use to) but it still had a nice sweetness and I could tell the tea leaves were of high quality and quite fresh. <br/>The ambiance was clean and simple. A brightly lit area, despite being underneath the main building. The music was neutral and not too loud. And even when there were 6 people inside it wasn't too loud. (It has the potential to be a bit noisy though, since I did not see any soft surfaces to absorb any sound). They had a small sampling of various truffles and baked goods, all of which looked very appetizing. And bags of coffee being sold on behalf of East Van Roasters. <br/>Finally there was the cost. As with most independent cafés the prices were a bit on the higher end, but I thought it matched fairly well with the quality you get. Certainly a place to go for a treat and not so much a daily go to. And it should be noted that there is only one size (about 12oz I would guess). <br/>My only complaint would be the room temperature and parking. As the cafe itself does not control the temperature they have been having difficulty getting the building to regulate it. The barista told me that some days it's too cold and others too hot. But that should be fixed over time. As for parking, you can either risk parking in another shops space or park at Landsdown and walk over (recommended). <br/>Overall I would recommend this place for adults looking for a nice quite place to treat yourself. Especially if you prefer quality over cost.

...found the Earl Grey tea to be absolutely delicious. I wouldn’t have minded a bigger cup as the tea was a bit strong, but I loved the idea of using a french press to make the tea. Nothing beats steeping loose tea leaves.

What proved to be my favourite was the Affogato made with vanilla bean gelato and espresso. It was so good… I’d definitely come back for that!
