Review White Spot - Richmond

Bought my bestfriend here, as she just flew in from Ukraine and had never had white spot. It's a childhood restaurant of mine, so we had to go. This location had probably the best burger I've had at any white spot location. I actually commented to the owner, that it's was the juiciest one I've had yet.... we ordered another lol.

We choose White Spot for consistently good comfort food. Service is generally good and Covid safety measures are still being respected. We enjoyed our Monty mushroom burgers served with generous Spot salads. Thanks for keeping us all safe.

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning at 9:30am. There were only two tables occupied with guests and the host took us to a table where the sun is shining directly at my eyes. She then “shifted” the table to the left but the sun followed. Obviously she had no common sense. There were at least 30 empty tables. There was a kid’s menu, but only big forks. My 6 year old daughter just lost a tooth, and the adult fork was too big for her to eat properly. I asked the waitress for a dessert fork, she says “we don’t have those.”🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ When she approached the table with our food, one packet of strawberry jam dropped on the floor. She picked it up from the floor and just PUT IT right on our desk. Probably that’s what they do behind the scene as well, but doing so in front of customer is evidence that this restaurant has no regulations to serving customer properly. The only thing was the food was good so I left 1 star on. The whole experience was a lousy one.

Waitress helping us was poorly trained and not attentive. First when we came in she kept coming back every 60 seconds trying to rush us to order. When we had just sat down. We needed maybe 2-3 min... Then she said to flag hire down when we were ready... Took us 10 minutes to catch her after finding another waiter to grab her for us... We needed refills on our waters for 20 min before she checked back. Food was great. Just wish the service matched the quality of the food.

Slow service and so-so food taste overall. The hash browns (smashed potatoes) were not seasoned well, unlike last time (a reason we were back today)...sad! My veggie burger wasn’t tasty either, but the Spot salad was awesome.

Food was good but not up to what I am used to from white spot. Service was slow and we had to ask for everything. It was clean and very new looking inside. They also have an outdoor seating area.

very bad expierinced i ever had in this white spot totally not recommended they serve very slow almost 45mins of waiting for our food and not satisfied meal, we pay $60 not even properly cooked.. dont come here anymore.. not friendly server!

Visited before the most recent restrictions and the place was setup well for social distancing. The staff were friendly, but didn’t come by to refill drinks or fries often. The burger was decent, but the beef drop was terrible. Wouldn’t recommend this or any other White Spot. They really need to improve their menu.
