Review Fogg N' Suds Restaurant - Richmond

Great open spaces and all the staff I saw wore their masks properly. I felt very comfortable with the distances between tables. The lobster appetizer was delicious. The fish and chips were pretty good. My batter was a little over cooked and crunchy, but not by much. It wasn't greasy and the fries were crisp.

We came in during happy hour and had 2 orders of different flavors of chicken wings and calamari. I did not find anything special with this food. The chicken wings tasted ordinary and dry, the calamari is very common-it is like cut and paste from the food court. If not for the Bellini cocktail and our friendly server, this rating would have been a 2-star.

Had a great time at this restaurant, good happy hour menu( i am your happy hour guy!!!) ordered wings, avocado toast, dry ribs and calamari!!! good food, good wine and a great server, Donalee. Donalyee was really good with a great sense of humour! We will be back!

I haven't been to a Fogg n' suds for a long time (since the one in downtown Vancouver), but decided to give the establishment a shot again, out of curiosity and a whim. The observable demographic when my cohort and I arrived, ranged from geriatric to teenagers (that are not there to kick back beers) and nothing in between, so my group of "studly male, pre-midlife crisis" friends were put off by it, since there was literally no one else in our age group hanging out there. It doesn't seem to be a popping/vibrant venue here. Having said, the facility itself was pretty decent, it's clean, there's a nice patio, and the food was actually pretty satisfying. The burgers were great, and the appies were decent. I recall the whole allure of prior Fogg n' Suds, touted "beer from all around the world" (and this was all pre-Biercraft/Craft beer hype) and "towers of power" (which was like a 60oz'er of draught beer in a tapped out/gimmicky "tower" like container), but this doesn't seem to be the focus anymore. That's okay, they have an okay selection of beer, with some "safe" craft selections.

A homey experience that’s for sure. Ate all the beefy goods. The rice teriyaki was superb. Layout of the building is a little bit questionable. Felt as if I was in a rich persons home. The Tiktok music was a great hint and made me want to get up and do a little jig. Overall the restaurants food was up to par and up to recent times standards. I want more than 3 candy canes on the wall though. This restaurant was a real experience that I will never forget. This changed my overall view of the food and beverage industry. Cold beer... I tried Dead Frog just for the name and was pleasantly surprised. Dinner was delicious and filling. Kale salad with cajun chicken and Steak sandwich! No room for dessert but please ask for Ginger when you come!

Staying at the Holiday Inn attached to Fogg ‘N Suds, the easy choice for dinner, turned out to be oh so right choice! Better than standard pub fare. Fish and chips is a favourite of mine, I travel the country for work and get this dish regularly. The battered fries were amazing, I considered asking the server for more fries and skip the fish all together. So glad I didn’t do that. The in house made tartar sauce has tied for best ever. Will make a point to eat here again.

Good ambience, lots of room, and servers are kind. Food came fast BUT is a bit on the salty side. Ordered the honey garlic wings and it was salty AF! I feel like they accidentally used salt instead of honey/sugar. I also had the Loco Moco, which was pretty good but also a little bit on the salty side for me (although not as much as the Honey Garlic Wings, which were almost unbearably salty). I also tried the surf and turf, and the beef was very good. All in all, apart from the honey garlic wings, it was a good experience :)

Stick to sports bar type food probably a wiser choice.. my friend and I ate their had the chicken alfredo and the seafood pasta dish... I think the alfredo came from a can and the chicken was boiled then thrown on grill for some color..wasn't really impressed.

We had the Sockeye Salmon Salad.....and it was delicious. The IPAs were even better! We will have dinner here again once we get back to town.....a great place to eat!

Went for dinner last night, had their chicken burger! It was amazing. The beer battered fries were awesome. Good food and good service!

We just stopped in for a bite after arriving from the weest coast. We enjoyed it very much...pleasant atmosphere..the burger was excellent..and staff was friendly. Funky old Toronto building...

The fish and chips were tasteless and mushy! Gross. I had chicken fajitas and they were good tasting but very over priced for what you got. Kids meals are 9 dollars and we had to ask twice before we got the kids drink. We never did get the kids dessert. I will not be going back there anytime soon. Very disappointing

Had the seafood penne n it was great...definitely liked food and staff...cheers!

So we booked for 15 people two months in advance. 20 min before the drink order was taken, We ordered food at the same time. Half the food beat the drinks. 1.5 hours and most of the food showed up. If you made enough noise they would remove the 18% gratuity. Evidently I did not make enough noise. Excuses flowed quicker than the drinks. I guess when a restaurant applies the mandatory gratuity the staff think it is a free ride and don't give a crap about service. If the service sucks, dont pay the tip.

Really Great Food "Staff are Excellent" Best Caesar Salad I've ever had. Really good place to catch your favorite sports team. Definitely a place I will frequent.

Service was good had dry ribs and a Cesar salad they were good, the drinks left something to be desired though, crappy and small glasses. I ordered a Cesar and Bellini. Overall ill go back.

Absolutely wonderful!! It was the first and only place I ate at in Vancouver, and I was EXTREMELY pleased!! If I ever go back to Vancouver, I'm definitely going back to this restaurant!!
