Always love a great Italian sammie. Saw the big sign and was excited to try it. Decor was a bit dark and not very welcoming. Food service needs a bit work, not much explanation on what sides are charged and what comes with. Price was a bit high for only a sandwich, and additional toppings were expensive. However, the sauce was really good, it had a good home taste. Sausage was cooked well, and the meatballs were delicious.

Delicious and fresh! Family owned is seems. He takes his time to make everything in house. I ordered an eggplant sandwich and meat arancini (rice balls). Rice balls among the best I’ve had. Both portions very reasonable! Great authentic sauce and flavour. Can’t beat this authentic Italian fast food. Prices are very reasonable too! Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Italian. Ciao!

Great place . I feel it gets overshadowed by the other restaurants in the same line. However , their food is good and fresh. We had the best chicken sandwiches. I will definitely come back .

Great selection and fantastic customer service by the owner Vince. The veal sandwich is made fresh and is excellent. It almost melts in your mouth and the crispy bread is soft and fresh.

East Street Sandwiches was great! They market that they have all fresh ingredients and it shows. Most importantly, it’s great that they are family owned! I’ll definitely be back.

Looks like this is a family owned restaurant and we have tried Grilled EggPlant sandwich and fries. This is the first time I have tried Italian sandwich. It's really wonderful. I felt mouth watering 😋when I had it. Fries also tasted great. For sure I will recommend to try it and will visit again. Next time will try chicken sandwich.

Had to try this place based on reviews. Been a long time since I've had an Italian style veal sandwich and this place was spot on. Owner/staff were friendly and helpful. All toppings (cheese, peppers, onions, etc) are extra so you'll need to craft your sandwich to your preferences. IMAO the veal to breading ratio was perfect, I've had sandwiches where the breading was excessive or the meat was too thick, sauce was too thin or no flavor, their sauce perfectly complimented the veal. Bread has a nice crust, see photo They bread the veal before cooking when you order, how fresh is that! They also have daily pasta specials, Wednesday is Lasagna day, it looked really good, maybe on my next visit. They're located right of highway 7, you haven't lived until you've eaten an Italian veal sandwich, do it!

My wife’s favourite local Italian sandwich place. Home made burgers, meatballs, arancini with a good cup of cappuccino
