Great Food and amazing service. The server was friendly, had a warm smile and was super attentive always. We called for a regular breakfast and a chicken dish. I will say the regular breakfast and the sausages were my favourite. Definitely a friendly, happy place for some yummy food! Highly recommend to visit it.

The deco is a nice old dinner, love that part of the restaurant, service is great, friendly waiter. Food is average not bad.

This is my go to diner for a relaxed breakfast. Staff is amazing. My fav is Greek omelette.

My goto diner! Very friendly staff! Great service and good for quick breakfast before work! And as for someone born in the 90’s its nice to experience that 50’s ambience.

LOVE this place !! Been going since I was a kid, the food is amazing. The place is absolutely amazing too, love how it looks like an old school diner, & obsessed with the pictures! The service is always good! Would 1000% recommend this place to anyone.

This is my second visit to this diner and the food was still amazing. I would definitely recommend a visit here. It's very family oriented with friendly and helpful staff members. My husband and I definitely enjoy coming here.

The Gaxaxie diner may be showing its years but the food and service was solid. It's been a long time since I've had free soda refills and a Ruebin sandwich. We also enjoyed a Turkey club sandwich and kids cheeseburgers. All of which were classic and very affordable. If you're looking for a spot off the 400 for a sit down lunch that's the same price as fast food. Try this Diner.

It was excellent first time there. I had toasted English muffin with smoked salmon eggs benedict and home fries and a small orange juice so delicious I would definitely go back. Staff is so friendly

An old fashioned all day breakfast. One of the best in town. Because of its famous old fashioned style, it attracts old fashioned cars (owners) meet and greet at Friday evenings here as well.

Great little breakfast joint, an old school vibe with fair prices and pretty quick service. I’ve had better breakfasts but just for food quality I still give it an 8 out of 10.

Avoid at all cost!! Used to be a great place...must have changed ownership in the last couple or so years.  Took my daughter there for a birthday lunch. The waiter dropped a huge 20oz. glass of ice-water on my 10 month old granddaughters head. After the hysterics, it was eventually determined she would be ok, but I shudder to think of what may have happened if it had been coffee. It fully soaked my daughter, her purse and the baby stroller as well. Nobody mopped it up and they left us sloshing our feet in water. My grandson was hungry so we decided to forgive the error and order anyway.  The food was inedible. An item ordered for my grandson's meal was never brought. My turkey gravy was gummy and black-brown, the stuffing was like cardboard and the instant mashed potatoes tasteless. The chicken on my daughter's Greek salad was slimy and under-cooked. We had to rush to leave because of a sudden possible tornado warning for the area, and were then actually presented with a bill for this meal. With no time to argue, I paid it and vowed NEVER to return. Worst dining experience ever!

Very poor service. My coffee cup had lipstick on it. I usually have a good appetite but this place has managed to help me diet. There was nothing good here. My girlfriend ordered eggs Benny. The hollandaise sauce was too thin. One egg was raw and the other hard boiled. My over easy eggs were raw. The peameal beacon was paper thin. I can't belive this place was busy. <br/><br/>Noticed many people leaving the food on their plates. Do yourself a favour and go have breakfast at the Harvey's down the street.

I went here last weekend for breakfast and the place was kind of packed. Luckily, I didn't have to wait in line. They serve all day breakfast and other foods too. I ordered pancakes, 3 eggs with chicken sausages and they gave a huge portion on the plate. ☺

Haven't been to Galaxie Diner in a while. Last I remember it was really good. Decided to go with the family. We were seated pretty quick and the server was nice. After we were seated it took 25 min for her to come back and take our order. The place was empty so I couldn't understand why it was taking so long. And with two small kids it wasn't a good mix. We tried to get her attention then she said " I will be right there" and still another 5-10 min before she came. Food was ok, your standard breakfast not great but not bad. I ordered the eggs Benedict, they weren't eggs Benedict. They didn't poach the eggs. It was a fried egg that was cooked in a perfect circle. Also it's bottomless coffee and not once was I asked if I would like a refill. Not sure if they changed owners but it's very different from the last time I was there. <br/>

It was busy at Galaxie Diner at lunchtime on Sunday. We were able to get a table almost immediately, but a few minutes after we got there the lineup started, so we thought we were fortunate to get there when we did. We were here many years ago, and it seems the place was a bit grimier than it should be. <br/><br/>Service was pleasant enough, but could have been a bit friendlier. Our order was taken fast enough, but it did seem to take a while for our food to arrive, even given how busy it was. Then when we finished our meal it took a few minutes to flag down our server to pay. <br/><br/>SWMBO ordered the Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken. The chicken was a bit bland and there were large chunks of red onion the should have been broken down. Also she said here coffee tasted a bit weak. <br/><br/>I was going to have the Salmon Benedict, but was told it was not smoked salmon, but regular salmon, so I switched to the regular Eggs Benedict. The three poached eggs were a bit overdone, and the English muffin may have been a bit stale, since it did not cut easily with a steak knife. On the plus side, the peameal bacon and home fries were good.

Great place for a standard breakfast. Home fries were incredible.<br/><br/>Service was lacking. I understand these restaurants like to churn through as many people as they can but I felt very rushed.<br/><br/>Offered coffee before being seated which was nice, but then asked to order 2 minutes after arriving. Then asked 3 minutes after that, so we asked her to come back in 5, so we could have a moment to make our coffee and look over the menu.<br/><br/>Once the meal was served, coffee was not topped up unless asked. Rushed out at the end to make space for others. <br/><br/>Will not return. Decent food however.<br/>

The service was not the best but we (me and my family) only asked around once and they bright the food in less than 11 minutes.<br/><br/>The food was filling and very tasty

This place is right around the corner from my house. Always busy on sunday mornings, and it almost seems as if they never have enough staff. That being said the food is pretty good. During my most recent visit I tried the salmon eggs benedict. They're fairly good but I felt it lacked something flavourwise. Make sure you try the chocolate pancakes, because they are fantastic!!

Food Good, Service Mediocre. Myself and a friend in on Sunday November 15th for late breakfast lunch. Was very busy, but one of the servers, was kind enough to sit us in another section other than her own as we were in somewhat of a rush. The waitress ( Oriental ) was very "cool" in her manner to us, Did not greet us in the way we are usually greeted by your other wait staff. She just said *What will you have*. She did however bring us fresh ice water, which usually the waitress's do not do unless requested to. My friend had asked for her pancakes to be served with her regular meal, but the waitress brought it over beforehand and when asked that we wanted it with the meal, she says that is the way it it served if ordered separately?!??..She then *contradicted* my friend and insisted that she did *NOT* order it to be served with her meal?..We feel it is extremely RUDE of a waitress to contradict what a regular paying customer has stated...Whatever, we kept it and my friend started to eat it as it did not appear that waitress was prepared to take it back and hold on to it and serve with the meal..At end of meal, rest of service was ok, but my friend was still a little mad that this waitress basically totally her she was a liar in regards to pancakes not to be served without other meal. When we got up to leave, I believe the bill was $34.08, I asked for $ 5.00 back in which I was going to leave it on the table . We like to do that instead of handing it to the waitress, as we were leaving and I was just about to put the $5.00 on the table, my friend overheard her say to another waitress there and loud enough for me to hear as I was *right standing at the table* we were just leaving. She said *THATS IT!! That is all the tip I get !!.. I couldn't believe hearing that, whether she intended for me to hear or not I am not sure, so I picked up the $5.00 that I was about to put on her table and my friend and I just walked on out..disgusted and insulted.!! I will not even begin to suggest that we would not frequent your restaurant again, but if and when we do, if we are seated at this waitress's table, we will ask for another waitress, if another waitress cannot be acoomodated, we will leave and find another restaurant, or perhaps ask to be seated in your restaurant where another waitress would be serving. Your food is very good value for the money, and there is never a shortage of food, My friend and I usually frequent twice a week, sometimes more if friends come by for a visit. We only hope that this particular waitress can develope better *customer service* skills based on the industry she is in which relys on customer service skills as well as being a good server to EARN her tip money. And for her to openly complain !! She said it to another waitress and we heard it too, how many OTHER people in the restaurant were subjected to hearing her. This is not a DIRECT reflection on the Galaxie Restaurant but is INDIRECTLY a reflection on the restaurant when management allows this type of behaviour from their staff with YOUR CUSTOMERS!! As mentioned, we will STILL frequent your restaurant, but would request a table where this particular server is not responsible for our service. The service is slow i had tell her 3 times before i got my coffee and she never came back for a refill. Mixed up my order and the food was okay at best.

Great greasy food. Fun place to go with the family. Pancakes were the greatest pancakes I have ever eaten, so fluffy! Big portion for a reasonable price, too.

Would never dine there again. I went there on Sunday, April 6th/14. It was busy, they had run out of clean coffee cups and I found the waitress was not very friendly. After waiting for a while to get a cup of coffee my friend and I order our breakfast. I was under the impression that coffee was unlimited. After having our sixth cup of coffee, we were told by the Asian waitress (who initially spoke to my Philippino friend in Mandarin thinking that she was Chinese) that the limit was only two cups of coffee. She told us that the manager was watching us on camera.......I could not believe how strange this whole conversation was. After that another waitress came by and commented on how our waitress handled the whole situation. I was totally disgusted with this whole ordeal. I told them both what horrible customer service this was and that I would not recommend anyone go there!!!!

Unhappy Customer. Dropped by for dinner ;the waitress couldn't. tell me if the food was fresh or frozen;and was reluctant to tell me when the turkey was cooked. we should have known the place was empty;the food was frozen;cheaper products an d greasy the gravy had weird lumps we couldn't eat it; I paid the waitress and advised her that they should hire a real cook; she agreed !!!

Great breakfast food!. Love the old fashioned diner decor! Their breakfast food is the best! Server was friendly and attentive. Will be going back with my family again soon!

Food and Waitress. When I am in the mood for greasy food - Galaxie is the place to eat. The owner is rude and always shouting at the waitresses and other cook. Contrary to comment about the waitress Yolanda being friendly and efficient, both my husband and I have frequented Galaxie Diner over the past decade having lived in Woodbridge for 23 years and totally disagree - not only is her appearance scary, she always reeks of cigarette smoke and seems to be on another planet as far as attention to detail. I only go there if my grandkids want to have a milkshake and for the decorium of the place.

Nice place.. For breakfast its a great place to go never leave hungry love the retro look and the greek owners have there accent which adds to the place... no cheeeesburgers here lolol

If this is your first time there, if you are not sure what to order, try the eggs florentine. You will definitley come back. The service here is always a great experience, the weitresses are very friendly and the atmosphere is laid back.

VERY NICE. My 1st visit to this diner I was impressed. I totally disagree with statement about waitress Yolanda. I found her pleasant, very friendly and my service was handled very well. Atmosphere very natstalgic and food was very typical of the time..great comfort food. For a great all day breakfast and unlimited refills, I totally enjoyed my experience at this diner and have vowed that I will be a regular there for sure. My ONLY problem there was the HUGE selection of various foods, was so hard to just pick any one item. Koodos Galaxie. YOU ROCK!!

Galaxie Diner Woodbridge. Forget about the food, when I first walked in the place and sat down my impression was good - thought it was as if back in the 50's, HOWEVER when the wait staff lady Iolanda came over I was frightened to order let alone eat there. She is one scary looking waitress - brown teeth and obviously on something. I had to ask twice for a side order of gravy and all whilst she is arguing with someone on her cell that we and other customers could hear about her daughters not being in school. Ditzy or what, then after meal waiting 20 minutes for bill. Hubby had to go find her, which she was out having a smoke at the side of building - even the cook tried looking for her. Food 7 - Wait Staff 0

Its ok. For breakfast, compared to the options around, its good. But nothing great.
