My friend recommended and tipped me off on this place having smoked duck with mushroom sticky rice as a lunch item. I decided to give it a try located in the Jubilee Plaza near Hwy 7/Leslie. It's not a big restaurant by any means but more of a hole in the wall. They have a lot of unique items that differentiate themselves from other HK style cafes. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner items including soup noodles, fried rice, pastas, and steak. It took a while but we did find the smoked duck with sticky rice ($7.99) and we also ordered a spicy beef stew in soup vermicelli. The vermicelli arrived first and it was a good size. It came with a side vegetable and a drink for $5.99. It was not as spicy as advertised and the soup was on the bland side. The smoke duck was very nicely flavored with the stick rice on the side. Both were tasty and it came with a side of vegetables. They have some other interesting combos that peak my curiosity and I will definitely come back and try them out.
