Review Magic Noodle - Richmond Hill

Cedric
Food tasted fine, I though my noodles were a bit too salty but overall flavor was good. However, the fried chicken was soft and not crispy enough which was dissapointing. Service was reasonably fast, it took around twelve minutes for everything to be served. Price is slightly higher than what you get but is no means overpriced. The environment inside is pretty nice. Overall, would go again but skip the chicken.

Magical Noodles !!! I have been a Magic Noodle fan since I brought my kids here for the first time. Even though they are older now they have their eyes glued to the Noodle Chef when bangs and slams those noodles down over and over. On our last visit there we decided to do take out and pick up a few of our favourite dishes that they make. The staff were very attentive and kind while we waited for our food to be made. On this visit we tired a few selections, The Signature Fryer, Magic Lamb, The Savoury Wonton Soup, The Smokey Duck and an order of Popcorn Chicken. Our food was as advertised, hot and fresh, and generally good sized portions. We didn't have to wait long and the kids enjoyed watching their noodles be made. Another great visit and another enjoyable meal. Keep up the Good Work Magic Noodle !!!

Our family had a delicious meal at Magic Noodle in Richmond Hill. It's my second time dining here and my daughters first time. They all LOVED the made to order hand pulled noodles. We also enjoyed their Lychee Sakura drink. They are already asking when we could go back. Thank you Daniel for your assistance. We will be back!

Delicious food. The hand cut noodle was amazing! Squid ball, garlic wings, and lamb skewers were always super good. Staff was super friendly and polite. Definitely recommend 👌🏻

If you want a bowl of nice hot noodles on a cold day, this is NOT the place for you. Maybe the kitchen didn't warm up enough or maybe the chef wasn't feeling up to par, but whatever was happening back there sent me a bowl of warm (almost room temperature) noodles. The food tasted good, the flavor and spices were all present. However, the soup should at least be steaming when the bowl reaches the customers' table and I'm sad to say it didn't happen. 1. Triple B 2. Tomato Beef 3. Seaweed Salad Overall: Food: 6 out of 10 Staff: 7 out of 10 Décor/Atmosphere: Food Court out of 10

The noodles and flavours are consistent. The portions did get smaller compare to before but it's pandemic so I get it. Food solid though, I'd come back. Especially the spicy broth with pig intestine and braised pork belly is amazing!

Very good and fresh made-in restaurant noodles. Tried the Triple BBB noodle soup and their Curry Chicken fried noodle. Both tasted good and are good portions. Restaurant is nicely sized and is fairly clean. Service is also good. Repeat customer for sure.

Nelson: With a website designed to draw in hipsters this is the rare Chinese restaurant that appeals to both Asians and Western people. The main attraction are the hand pulled noodles. If you've ever watch them being made you'd understand why it is so cool. Now hopefully non-Asians can begin to appreciate this skill as well.

This was an old visit back in 9/22/2015. A new colleague that recently started work at the company recommended to try Magic Noodle because it was the "BOMB" in the neighborhood. . This Magic Noodle location is new addition to area. The original one in Scarborough is supposedly very good. The noodles are made by hand and using fresh ingredients. The restaurant was very busy but we were able to get seating down.

...

I don't like this place very much. Depending on how lucky you are, you'll get either a bowl of noodles in very oily soup, or very plain & bland soup. There is no happy medium. The flavours are alright, but for the most part, the toppings are meager and swim above a ball of noodles in a large, soupy pool. I've been here twice and I don't think I will be back. The hand-made aspect of the noodles is over-hyped and you can definitely find better-tasting noodles elsewhere (with a better chew!).

Magic Noodle is one of those places I go to have a good meal. It's priced right and the food is good. This location is much larger than the one in Markham but does not open 24/7. They also serve some pretty excellent fried (sliced) noodles, which is not available at the other location. I highly recommend trying the Shanghainese Style Fried Noodles. Waitresses tend to be moody/emotionless sometimes, but its nothing that you can't handle.

This location is so much better than the one in Scarborough. More space between tables, and most importance of all so much better service.
In my other review, I indicated that I would not return to the location in Scarborough because of bad service.
Anyhow, the food is so-so, I can have better value for my money somewhere else.

NOT MAGICAL AT ALL! UNIQUE, DIFFERENT BUT VERY DISAPPOINTING!You won't find other restaurants with similar recipes but at the same time, the noodle dishes (we tried 5 kinds) were all very mediocre at best. The noodle taste store bought even though you can see them make it in the open kitchen. The broths were different and unique but bouillon cubes have better taste! The broths did not taste like they had been simmering for hours. The portions were just adequate at best. However, service was good and fast.

"Boring, Bland and Blah! Not Returning."I knew eight people who had went before and had advised against it but I had to see for myself. Boy, was I disappointed! The noodles were bland and did not taste freshly pulled. Water has more taste than their broth for the braised pork noodle soup. The pork was very fat but at least it had some taste to it. The large is only marginally bigger than the small and we all had to go to MacDonald's next door afterwards as the servings, even the large is not filling enough.I would rather go to Deer Gardens or Lemongrass nearby for yummy and filling soup noodles. Or go to Shaangxi on Hwy 7 if you want delicious fresh pulled noodle.

Wow, I absolutely loved the noodles! They were perfectly made, not too fine, had some consistency and chewiness to it, and tasted so good with the broth that was not too strong in taste. The noodles were just really, really good!

Terrible food.. Noodles were average. Do not order anything from the bbq menu... You have been warned.

I am excited to see Magic Noodle is doing its magic up at Richmond Hill.

This new location is much better the one ar Scarborough. The interior is a lot more spacious, hence more seating and love the bar seating against the wall. As a frequent solo diner, the wait would be significantly shorter.

For this location, there are wait staff that can speak Cantonese or Mandarin and English. Some are even speaks all 3. Communication is not going to be an issue. The colorful menu with nice photos makes ordering super simple.

My Langchou Beef Noodle 蘭州牛肉面 ($6.95) with the choice of noodle (三梭) was really well made. The soup is hot with nice herbal aroma. The star of course is the Magic noodle: cooked perfectly with great texture and bite but not doughy at all.

Hopefully this Magic Noodle would opens 24/7 like its Scarborough location. But for now the hours is 11 am -11 pm.

Good noodle place. Portions good. Fast service. Busy but quick turnover. Quite delicious. The soups base is not too salty. It's nice and clean
