Their bento box was good. The tempuras tasted delicious but the spring roll tasted frozen. They also have lunch menu at reasonable price. They are currently not doing lunch ayce menu and they only have all day dinner ayce menu for $36.99 on the weekdays.

Ordered for a pick up and was very disappointed. I ordered a seaweed salad with half the container being lettuce. The worst part was the cheese wontons that were made with shredded cheese instead of cream cheese. Barely any cheese filled inside and was flat. And the sushi was ok but not impressed with the overall service.

This tasted more like Korean than Japanese food. The hand rolls were wrapped well but was mushy. Chicken teriyaki wasn’t that flavourful . Out of everything, the salad dressing was what I enjoyed the most. Miso was ok as well.

Food was good. I like the all you can eat service. Some of it could be better as my guests or I didn’t like it. Ramen was weird as my friends put it. Some fried stuff was greasy. Sushi was good. A bit expensive though I will say.

The food is pretty standard for AYCE sushi, which is a good thing. However the service was very fast and very nice, especially for a busy Friday night. The atmosphere is fantastic too! Very modern. I almost want to kick a star off cause the bathrooms look like a handyman's diy project, but instead I'll just mention it has something worth improving.

Great experience the food was good and the staff was kind. The 4 star rating I gave isnt accurate I'd like to give it a 4.5 the reason is some other items on the menu weren't the best and price is relatively high. Still great experience I'd recommend it

Purchased a 24 pieces of SASHIMI plate for 25 (not including tax) buck and the quality of fishes are disappointing … how dare they trick customer with like 7 pieces of cheap crab meat and count as sashimi? (Pic we ate a few) but overall only three pieces of real sashimi (salmon, red tuna, etc)… such a rip off. Never order again.

Been there couple times the staff is very friendly and the sushi is good. The quality of food overall is okay but it depends on what you get. Yesterday I ordered black pepper beef and i’ve been throwing up all night and also my hubby tummy hurts the beef wasn’t good and i think the oil as well for the sushi wasn’t fresh I don’t think I’ll be visiting there again

Love the all you can eat option. Great value and the food was really good. The spicy chicken, fried scallops and red bean ice cream are favorites.

I dont know where to start. I'm just so angry and offended. <br/><br/>So my friend and I ordered "Chicken Katsu Don" and my other friend ordered "Chirashi Don". <br/><br/>Let me start by saying as soon as they plated the "chicken katsu don", I had to call the waitress back to ask her this dish was, because I am 100% sure it is not a chicken katsu don. It is not my first time eating this dish. Google some pictures if you need a visual of what this dish is, and compare it to what we got. What they served us was literally some chicken teriyaki fried rice but the waitress insisted that it was chicken katsu don and mumbled some cooking process it went through. But no, there was no deep fried breaded chicken. There was no bread crumbs. No strips. No condiments. If you ever find a picture on google of "chicken katsu don" that looks like mine, please show me and correct me if I'm wrong and I will take down this review. Because my friend and I was legit angry and have every right to be. <br/><br/>Firstly, the entire dish was brown and covered in teriyaki sauce. Second, the portion was incredibly small (as seen in the pictures) and my friend finished it in literally 5 minutes as I was snapping photos. The amount of chicken they gave us was minimal because it was all in slice (as seen in the pictures). Not thick strips. Because there was no cutlet. <br/>The price we paid for this was definitely not worth.<br/><br/>The odd thing about this dish is that it was served in a plate rather than a bowl, as the katsu "don" implies. Same with my friend's chirashi don. It was my first time seeing "rice bowls" served on a plate... Also... the fish was not all that fresh either. It looked like it was stored under plastic wrap in a fridge or something because the fish was kind of dry. It was not made to order. <br/><br/>This really made me question the restaurant's authenticity for Japanese food, because it's my first time seeing a Japanese AYCE restaurant deviate so much... Now I know there are tons of non-Japanese owned Japanese AYCE restaurants, because I've been to a handful of Chinese owned Japanese AYCEs myself. However, there was just such a lack of attempt, it actually felt offensive to me. <br/><br/>The most enraging part was when we got the bill. We got a fortune cookie. We got. A frikken. CHINESE. Fortune cookie. At a JAPANESE AYCE restaurant. This was the icing on top of the cake for me. Its clear now that this restaurant caters towards people Westerners or others who are who are not familiar with Japanese culture. And this was confirmed the moment we entered the restaurant actually looking at the customers. <br/><br/>FOOD 1/5<br/><br/>SERVICE 3/5 – they weren’t rude<br/><br/>ENVIRONMENT 4/5 – it was nice and spacious<br/><br/>If only they actually admitted to serving us the wrong dish, or say that they ran out of cutlet, charged us less for what we got, apologized, or SOMETHING then we wouldn’t be as angry. <br/>We will definitely not be returning.

When did they start to add 10% tips on the bill. I always pay tips but let me choose what amount to give dont just add it yourself. A tip should be your choice and not mandatory. If you feel the service is good tip any amount you like dont just add it. Not only that they don't give you the right amount of pieces you order. They short you on your pieces. Lets say if you were to order 20 pieces of sashimi when it arrives its only 12. And its expensive $32.75 after taxes. With their mandatory tip of 10% at the end your bill is $36.02 each person. That's way too much.

Very good, fresh, tasty, good variety, nice service. The manager (I think he is the owner) is very pleasant, polite, obliging. He lacks skills in English though (and so I do ; )), but that's fine, no problem. His helpers are very considerate, polite, obliging too. I definitely like this place !!

Regular place for us to go for sushi in Richmond Hill- staff is friendly, service is fast and food is fresh and great. try it and you'll come back.

Good experience. The service was very fast and staff was friendly. I ordered the dynamite, spicy salmon, and salmon skin rolls and those were absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back.

The raw fish wasn't very fresh. We ordered white tuna. We got some bright red fish instead... We got too many miso soups. Food came out pretty quick though. We had sushi belly for a day after (ie food didn't seem to sit well with us for next 24 hours)

Service is good but the price is up there. And to boot they surprise you with an extra fee if you don't pay with cash

The food is awful, and the service is horrible! It took 30 minutes to bring my first order of appetizer, and even after that, they informed me they can't prepare and serve some other parts of the order!!

Food is alright for an ayce. Rice on rolls is poorly packed. Sushi pieces (tuna) is very thin. Generous for the sashimi pieces. All maki rolls were half orders (4pieces), tempura is heavily breaded. $21 for ayce on weeknight, 15% tip included, 5% extra for using debit/credit. Service so so

Good food but service can lack if it's really busy. The washrooms are clean so that's probably why the food is always fresh ..

Great low key atmosphere, good quality sushi!. Food is good, service attentive. Not the greatest decor in the world though it is clean and neat. They should really do something with the music! Asian pop is a no no especially when put on repeat.

Unbelievably bad. I just got back from this place and it was so horrendous I was motivated enough to open an account here and tell people about it.<br/><br/>I had all-you-can sushi, various rolls and the chicken teriyaki. I can't believe this place has ANY positive reviews whatsoever. The fish wasn't fresh, the rolls were sloppy, the rice was gross. I ordered the chicken teriyaki had the meat was 50% fat with some cheap sauce on it.<br/><br/>I can't stress enough how bad this was. I give this place a 1/10. Easily the worst sushi experience I've ever had.

Upside- Food was good, just around average for ayce. Sashimi was good portion and came fast Downside- service was very poor, we were the fourth table of 2 and Waitresses (3) were all hiding in back. Decor is boring, dull with low playing pop music Or mayb that was From the kitchen guy. Some small catch 22's below the menu; There's an automatic 15% tip added on(even with minimum service, or mayb why?) 0.05% extra if u use credit cuz the price shown is cash only. Dinner menu extras were super slim, not worth it for dinner for 8 options. I'm always easy going and low maintenance but this was worth noting to others

I usually shy away from all you can eat sushi because of my small appetite. However, once in awhile, I would make an exception for Kaze because I love their wide selection of food and I really enjoy their sashimi. To start off, the seaweed salad was a little dry , but was decently tasty. Shrimp and yam tempura was nicely executed, but nothing extraordinary. Salmon sashimi and imitation crab meat. We went crazy for the salmon sashimi and ordered 50 in total. This was only the first 30. Salmon rose sushi had too much rice for me. But once again I enjoyed the salmon.
