Just love the desserts there. Best waffles in town. A full meal so I always share with a friend. The cheese cake � is great too. Lively atmosphere. Always full of young & beautiful people. A big space so never a problem getting a table. Friends do visit & order the waffles. Tooo yummy �

I had heard of Demetre from my friends, this was the first time I actually visited one. The 4 of us arrived there a little late on Canada Day after fireworks. Initially, the boy at the front desk said "take out only", coz it was getting close to closing time. The place was buzzing, for God's sake!! In a few minutes, another waitress came along and found us a table. So grateful to her for such service!! ❤️ The waffle topped with ice cream was absolutely delicious. Service was prompt too, despite being close to midnight and being so busy. It was TOTALLY worth driving out there. We'll be going back for sure!

I usually have the last straw on a Belgian waffle (substituting white chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla). It was delicious as usual! My cousin and I were disappointed though to find out that the Caffé Demetre at East Beaver Creek and Highway 7 had closed down. 😐

This place is always ridiculously full. It's noisy and busy. The staff is pulled in all directions, so it's hard to get any service. But even with so many people, it's clean.
We ordered the moo-la-la on a crepe. It was ok. Nothing to rave home about. Coffee refills are limited to only one cup; That was annoying.
Good date place. But if you need a place for more serious discussions, keep looking.
I came here with some friends after a spicy meal at the Bashu Sichuan Cuisine. Initially, I was looking to get a slice of cake with a coffee. However, I was quite full already when we sat down at their patio. I decided to share a crepe with a friend and a cup of coffee. We chose The Last Straw (DRESSED TO GRILL)
: Honey Madagascar Vanîlia Iced Cream • Fresh Strawberries • Strawberry Coulis. Crêpe ($12.75). The name of their desserts are a play on movie names. I absolutely loved the ice cream as it was decadent and the solid texture unlike its soft counterparts. The coffee was not that strong at all, passable with cream and sugar added. The server asked if we wanted more coffee and then never came back with the refill. We did ended up with glasses of water for each person (small mix up). The patio is quite nice and allowed our party to continue our night of fun.
There is so many wrong things with this place. 1) it's winter and the temperature is soo cold inside the place 2) every table was full in the place, yet there are only two servers who are nice but have terrible serving experience. 3) because I had to wait at least 40 min for my food, i was watching the cook and he kept on touching his hair preparing the food without wearing gloves or washing his hands. I don't buy someone called in sick because I have been there before and it's always the same. They need to add another server and stop cheapingout.
Very very busy and noisy beyond carrying a normal conversation!! Lots of teens and loud people. Food / deserts are so so or hit / miss. Service was okay. Pricey
Busy busy busy. Good thing. Desserts are fresh. Coffee is good. Company amazing. Didn't want tosit by the bathroom door. Front and centre with rest of the crew. Diverse crowd. Wait staff excellent. Service impeccable. Tables are a little too close together. Excellent experience overall. Would come again.
To be honest, under my anticipation of this place because I have collected for a long time and finely to visited a few days ago. The service was excellent, and the space was nice too. But the desserts were too sweet for both of us, and the capacity of the food was big enough that no one could be finished it.
Nice interior beautiful location with plenty of space. The staff was super nice and helpful. Deserts were super tasty and beautifully presented. Must try strawberry Blush. Prices are bit on higher side but worth the price. Enjoy

The store itself is not that new & it definitely needs a renovation & clean up.

Server was great. Prompt and courteous service. Disappointed in my choice of dessert though. Got the "Brownie Points" , not realizing the coco chanel icecream was actually chocolate icecream. I think the brownie cheesecake would've been a 100 times better with vanilla ice cream instead.
I'd return for the service and maybe to pick something without coco Chanel in it 🤔
