I got the sushi/sashimi party tray TR 05 for takeout around $70 . Quality is fresh and pretty nice presentation. The lady server there is super friendly.

A little sushi / korean restaurant tucked away is now one of my go to spots. Always clean, great lighting, and friendly service. If you're a fan of creamy, saucy speciality rolls this place is for you!! Although, we haven't tried their Korean dishes, we can say that their Japanese dishes are AMAZING! Good quality good price. [Haru Roll] - This is the dish that has this place my GO TO spot. Baked scallops in a spicy creamy sauce slightly baked over top of California Rolls. For me, I am a huge California base roll girl with toppings, especially if those topping consist of anything creamy, saucy or fresh! I don't remember exactly what rolls we usually get as it differs depending on our mood that day, however every roll we've ordered here so far has been amazing. Big rolls, packed with ingredients and big slices of sashimi. Overall, amazing good, amazing service, good quality and good price. Highly highly recommend, especially if you live in the area!

All our family just love this place. We drive there for 30 min and it’s totally worth it even if we have a lot of other sushi places around. Very good food. Very quick and professional service. You are the best!

3.5 / 5 had take out sushi now a few times usually get small tray good enough for 2 people I would say with average appetite, very fresh wish more nigiri than maki for $40 and change it was just fine

Rice of sushi was extremely densely packed (came here 3 years ago and didn't go since but tried recently and surprisingly still the same!) which felt like 2 times more portion of rice without any spacing between rice grains plus sashimi was cold as in like came out of fridge not too long ago. Giving 2 stars because at least the staff was nice.

Unfortunately, I thought that the Spicy Caterpillar Roll was less than spectacular in taste. The rice that wrapped around the spicy tuna and cucumber was very mushy and not characteristic of Japanese rice at all which should be firm. I was quite disappointed with the quality of the rice here. I couldn’t really taste the tuna inside the roll either… The wasabi also wasn’t spicy enough for my taste.

The restaurant is very clean and the service is very friendly service. You get good quality food for a very reasonable price. Packed during weekdays lunch hour.

Other colleagues at my workplace suggested Haru for some time. By chance, another colleague today suggested that we try out this restaurant, "Haru" and we agreed. It's located up in Richmond Hill directly across the "World Bowl" plaza. This plaza is very quite and has lots of parking spaces along the perimeter of this plaza.

Food: 4/5
Service: 4.5/5
Pricing: $9 - $15 (Lunch)

Atmosphere: ...

I went for the first time a few months this ago. Its so close to where I lived. I'm kicking myself for not coming sooner! They have plenty of free parking. And have some of the nicest people I have ever met working there. Service to me is perfect!

I didn't go for the sushi and sashimi, others in my group did and said it was great, fresh and nicely cut.

I got the beef bulgogi. I got it because when I walked into the restaurant the smell was amazing. The waiter said it was the bulgogi. I sacrificed sashimi.

It was delicious. I'd never had bulgogi before. Lean thin strips of beef, thin sliced zucchini, onions, carrots, peppers, and mushrooms. The sauce. I can't even describe it. It was so good.

The dinner came with green salad, miso soup, and green tea ice cream.

The last time I went I got the Sushi and sashimi platter. It was great nicely cut, and fresh.

I am torn as to whether I want to recommend the sushi, sashimi, or Korean food. I guess I think you should go with friends, order all three and share!!! Make sure you try the Korean food!!

I'll go back for sure. I feel like this is going to be my new go to place.

Japanese restaurant owned by Korean. The walls reminded me of Kinton ramen. All chairs, tables, tablewares are new.

Fresh sashimi, excellent presentation, terrific service.

Lots of rolls to choose from. We tried the one with avacadro, spicy tuna, mango, shrimp and mixed greens rolled in rice paper.

Price is OK. Definitely cheaper than inatei but also a bit above average.

Consider the service and quality... I will return for sure. The nicest thing is.... this place is quiet so I can enjoy a great conservation.

Underrated restaurant that deserves more attention. A little better than your average Japanese restaurant located in a hidden area of Richmond Hill. Definitely worth a visit if you are nearby!

My best friend suggested this restaurant and I'm glad she did. We ordered a large tray with sushi, sashimi, and maki and also ordered handrolls. Everything was very good and the handrolls were huge (a meal in itself). The service was great and prices were reasonable. Only wished they had a little more variety of fish with the boat and that they had more uni available. Will definitely be returning.

Location
Great place for those in Richmond Hill but for those who live a little South of here, you may find it difficult to locate. Unlike my previous review, this restaurant has a very good website. The only drawback is that you can’t maximize pictures in their gallery (hopefully this will be fixed). A good website should be easy to navigate: few tabs, google map for location and directions, a gallery, menu online or in pdf form, and everything should at least be in English.

Service
I read this funny review on Yelp stating that the staff are too nice. They are definitely pretty good (1 or 2 waiters only) and are super attentive. I don’t think it’s made-up, appears genuine to me.

Food
We only ordered the medium-sized sashimi/sushi boat item. The sashimi are plentiful and are cut in thick slices (I actually prefer them thin) but my boyfriend loved it. Fresh? Definitely. The sushi is also really good and they are gigantic! The sushi can be inverted and their sashimi will not fall off (a stupid trick that I use to see if they pack it well) so that’s a thumbs up for me. In terms of portion size, two people will be full with that boat because I had enough for sure. Accompanied by this sushi boat are salad and miso soup. The salad has a sour sauce which I rarely had in previous Japanese eateries and the miso soup was quite average.

So what is my verdict? This restaurant is above average in terms of quality and quantity but would do well with a few suggestions:
– Improve marketing (We were the only table at 8:30pm but they deserve props for a great website)
– Give the customers ice cream at the end (Pretty standard nowadays especially when we ordered a boat)
