This place offers one of the best dine in experience...small little things add value to the meal...enjoy being here every time
One of the best thing of this place is food. Mouth watering dishes with specialized names. Great interior over all !! We don't need to go far for Indian street food of great taste. We went with the family and all age group enjoyed food - which is the most appropriate for big fat families. enjoyed it - keep growing
We have been to Bhai’s Canteen many times, the most recent visit was just yesterday. My husband was in a mood for homemade, hearty vegetarian food. We ordered the Hakka Noodles, Palak Paneer, Dhaba Daal and Aloo Gobhi. We also ordered phulka roti and parathas which were really fresh. My son also ordered the Mango Lassi. The food was delicious and was of excellent quality. The staff is very friendly and the service is prompt. Another winner restaurant by the Host Hospitality Group!!
Excellent authentic dishes with great service and the only place you’ll find dosa in RH
I went for lunch today at Bhai's Canteen and it was probably the best Indian food I have ever had! A must try - you will be back!
Amazing vegan options and the staff are so pleasant to deal with! The music is the perfect volume so you can engage in conversation and feel like you're having a real intimate gathering.
Had the masala dosa and pani puri. Both were delicious! Can't wait to go back again to try more things on the menu!!!!
The food was fantastic!! We wanted to order everything. Service and atmosphere were great. We will definitely go back.
It's place to recall your college canteen memories
Specially for purists vegetarians place to enjoy
Completely compared to mandir purity Must try

Our "adda" or "go-to" place for great Indian food. Nice ambiance and friendly service. My son loves the bread pakoda!
Loved this place. Staff was super friendly, helpful and open to requests. Food is excellent and the idea of tiffins is sensiblly genius
The Paneer Butter Masala was a small bowl of a homemade cheese tomato sauce. The sauce was smooth and tasted really good. I also liked the paneer (cheese) in it. The chunks were very soft, almost like tofu, and not cheesy at all.
Loved this place. Tasty food, quite and calm ambiance.
I loved the food presentation. The staff is friendly. Loved loved loved Bhai’s Indian Canteen 😋😋
I honestly gave up on Indian restaurants in the GTA area long time ago, but I decided to pay this one a visit since its vegetarian. I'm so glad that I did!
I ordered the masala biryani (no yogurt). It was served in a clay dish. It was delicious and flavorful. I also tried their masala dosa. It was a bit oily but delicious nonetheless. They do offer "Hakka Chinese" items in case you prefer Chinese food.
Great service, decent portions, and reasonable prices. Overall this is one of the best Indian restaurant that I have visited in the area and I strongly recommend it. I'm definitely coming back.
Its a great place. Food was wonderful, service fabulous and cleanliness perfect. I give them 4.5 because food was not spicy enough (it felt it was westernized not authentic Indian) and because they don't immediately bring out spoons/forks with the food. I gave them the feedback on utensils and they accepted the feedback graciously and very positively. I will monitor changes and update feedback accordingly.
A very good vegetarian restaurent. Everything i tried was excellent. Very courteous staff. My favorites are Tomato soup, Pani puri shots, Manchurian veggie balls, Gattey Shattey, Rajma wajma, Choley bhaturey, Masala biryani, etc to name a few.
Good food and fast service...will definitely go back to this lovely place..food was perfectly spiced..a perfect 5 star...servers go out of their to explain the menu.. a nice place for vegetarians
Great ambience!! Servers were polite and very helpful. Menu items are very innovative and creative. Paneer tikka wrap was just amazing at this place. Please add more tasty items to your menu.
Great hospitality! A very refreshing change in Richmond hill.. Keep up the tasty food!!!! This is some of the few places where true ethics of food business is served.
This was the first visit and came especially from Brampton to try this place and wasn’t disappointed!!
We ordered vada pav, pav bhaji (both the items were good but not too authentic), uttapam (the sambar was a bit too thick for our liking). Would highly recommend the jalandhari nutrí naan, masala pasta and chai <3. Absolutely loved these items.
The ambience in comparison to other Indian street food restaurants is pretty good and the service provided by Kulvir and Anju was great as well :))
Interiors are so beautiful. Dishes are presented in such a nice way. Loved their chole bhature. Bhature was not oily at all and chole was super delicious. The server who attended us was very sweet, helped us to decide our order.
Tea was delicious and loved how they served parle g with it.
I’m only giving 4 Stars because of the service.
Would give 2 and half Stars for food and 5 Stars for the ambiance.
Heard a lot about this place and wanted to try out their Chola bhatura.
We came specially from downtown Toronto to try out the food
All Vegetarian restaurant with some vegan options.
The Decor is amazing, loved the detailing and authenticity of the interior.
The service was awesome and really appreciate the server providing my daughter with a personal hygiene item from her own purse.
Good vibes and good chola bhatura.
Just wasn’t happy with the quantity. Barely enough for one person. The Manchurian and Hakka noodles were extremely sweet and totally not up to the mark in flavour and texture. The noodles were over cooked as if kept in hot water for too long.
The mango lassi and lemon soda was good.
The Matari Kulcha was good and bad. The veg was tasty but the kulcha was dry and rubbery. Overall quality was way too little.
I wish they concentrate on the taste more and little less on presentation the place would be great.
Good place for small portions and good chola bhatura.
Little expensive for the portions.
Great place to hang out for the ambiance.
Went to Bhai’s canteen for Father’s Day. It was busy but we were accommodated right away. Decor is nice and the place is spacious. They have a good menu to choose from. We got dosas for the kids from the kids menu. Hubby ordered channa bathura and I ordered pav bhaji. Portions are decent. Kids sambhar was watery. Although, have to admit that the food tasted good. The service could have been better. It took a while to get the menus, they didn’t offer us any utensils, nor napkins. Had to keep getting up and asking for these items as they didn’t visit our table to ask at all. I guess perhaps they were short staffed and it was busy for Father’s Day. Would visit again. Hopefully service will be better next time around!
Good food and ambience. Anyone trying Indian food for the first time I would recommend you try this place. Quick service too.
Tried Masala biryani, veg Manchuria, and veg noodles. Veg masala biryani is really great. My wife loved it as well as veg noodles. But Manchurian balls are really worst. please don't ever try it here. You will lose the opinion on the restaurant. Even the Manchuria gravy tasted worst.
