Review Sarpa - Richmond Hill

Went here for the first time to celebrate my cousins birthday. Everything we ordered was super delicious. We devoured everything! My personal favourite was the gnocchi as it was super soft, fluffy, and a little crispy on the outside. The texture of the gnocchi was made to perfection and it was delicious!!! The service was also amazing. Our glasses were always filled and I especially appreciated how they changed our plates and wiped down the table after every course. Had a very good experience dining here and will definitely be back.

We tried Sarpa out for the first time yesterday! For the food: Great option in our neighborhood if you’re ever craving a hearty gnocchi. We ordered the bruschetta, the fries, two portions of the gnocchi and the olive oil cake. All of the food was good. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the honey reduction on the fries. It was a bit too sweet for me. Also- the gnocchi was tasty but needed a bit more flavor in it. Some salt , some garlic powder, some something ! The olive oil cake was alright - it was light and puffy but ill try the tiramisu next time. For the service: amazing ! I believe Anthony was our server and he was very easy to talk to, and not pushy at all. He gave good recommendations and came to check on us periodically to refill our glasses. We felt well taken care of and enjoyed talking to him. Thanks Sarpa, we’ll be back soon to try out the other items on the menu :)

Their gnocchi is easily the fluffiest gnocchi I’ve ever had. I’m pretty particular about the starchiness of gnocchi and this gnocchi has the perfect cloud like texture. I would definitely recommend! The beef tartare is light but with very strong flavours (in a good way). If going with a group, I would recommend getting the beef tartare and gnocchi as a shareable for everybody! I also love that they give warm bread to start. Fresh and tasty!

Amazing service and the food was delicious. I can easily say the Tiramisu is the best in Toronto. Highly recommend this restaurant. Anthony made me feel so special and treated me like a queen. He is the best

Plenty parking spots in this plaza. Great ambiance and great service! The server was friendly and attentive. Food was ok with a decent portion, but on the pricier side.

Excellent Italian cuisine with great atmosphere and even grater staff. The Meir is a bit shortened due to Covid but it’s very flavourful. Great selection of wine and drinks. Staff are very nice and professional. It’s perfect for special occasions. I Highly recommend this place.

It is not my first time to this restaurant and I’m happy that despite restrictions and a somewhat cold weather we could enjoy a nice evening here. I took an Atlantic Char dish and it was beautifully done. The wine (half a bottle of Chianti Classic) was smooth and delicious. Unfortunately the steak was not great. The meat has an after taste that my wife did not like.

Went to Sarpa Trattoria for my birthday and had a great time. Service, drinks and food was great.

We ate here for the first time last night being a local restaurant we wanted to give it a go. Firstly it was really busy which was a good thing but it meant that the service was slow as they didn’t seem to have many waiting staff. We had a mixed starter that was ok but not really enough for two people as-the server said it would be so I was left hungry. I ordered the half chicken and I dropped the mash as I am going low on carbs and asked for the vegetables. The chicken was nice but nothing special but the portion of veg was not enough to fill anyone up I would have happily paid for extra as I mentioned when ordering. I left hungry which is never good when you leave a restaurant. I am not even that big an eater so for me to be hungry afterwards was not good. The menu Was small with not many options and the drinks menu did not have many options for vodkas or gins no flavoured vodkas at all. Also the cost was downtown Toronto prices which I feel we’re high for what we Got and where it’s based.

Excellent service, good ambience, food is very fresh and tasty. Price range is mid-high but worth it.

This is one of my family's favourite go-to places for fantastic food (and it's local). Beautiful atmosphere, great service, fanominal food...and you don't have to drive to the city!

Food were very delicious 😋, service was perfect 👌🏻 It's a nice and cozy place to have a dinner 👍We were four of us. All of us were ordered different dishes and all were tasty. Definitely will be back!!!

Thank you Sarpa for making our anniversary dinner memorable. The meal was delicious, the atmosphere relaxing and the service superb. And let's not for get the flour-less chocolate torte!

Was excited to go for our 10th Anniversary dinner with our two kids. Started out perfect - complimentary champagne, quick meals just for the kids and our appetizer (grilled calamari.) Then waited almost an hour for our main (the special), had to pour our own Caymus wine throughout the night. Ordered desert, waited another 25 minutes till our patience was exhausted - cancelled desert, and cashed out. Excellent food, but the one of the worst dining experiences of all time for one of our most special occasions. Never going back due to worst service ever. Hence the lack of tip.

I've been here many times and the food is delicious and great service. I recommend it for everyone :)

Everything fom the service to the meals ...to the drinks..specialty coffees...You have to try it I can honestly say they have the best Frutti di mare ...seafood linguini i have ever tasted!!!!
