Review Scaddabush - Richmond Hill

Pretty good Italian food. Everything we ordered tasted pretty good but personally the pastas were way too oily. My favourite item to order is the smoked bacon & egg pizza. They also have really good appetizers too. The desserts were very sweet but the taste was pretty good. Service was ok and restaurant has nice vibes. I highly recommend dining in compared to takeout as the quality and portion size was much better for dine in.

The waiter was nice and polite, tried his best to make us happy. I liked the restaurant’s decorations but it was a bit dark place (or maybe I prefer somewhere a bit more bright) The food was good in both quality and volume. I believe the salad didn’t worth the price but the rest was good. I liked the spoon of parmesan that you guys put nest to my pesto pasta lot! Pure Italian action! Bravo! 👍🏻🤌🏻

We visited at about 2 pm on a quiet weekday. We were seated promptly inside, were not offered outside seating by the hostess. The waitress came around and was pleasant but straight to the point. She asked if we wanted drinks and we said we were ready to order so she picked up the side plates and there was another plate in the centre. We saw that it had a hair present so we told her if she could change it. She replied that plate is only to keep the condiments but still we thought we don't want to be looking at this plate throughout the meal. She did take it and left but this certainly was not a pleasant start. Other things we noticed was with her and another male server. Our server then was transporting a whole bunch of plates and rather then carrying them away from herself, she was leaning them to her chest which did not seem very hygienic. The male server continually kept going between the kitchen and the outside but he constantly kept playing with his hair, again not very hygienic in our opinion. Finally it came time to pay the bill. I was frankly annoyed that she did not leave the debit/cc machine for us to operate, rather she stood over me whilst I was trying to complete the sale and give her a tip. Usually, I find that the appropriate thing to do is to give some privacy to the customer by perhaps turning away for a few seconds. I promise I was not going to rip off the machine. The food by the way was excellent.

Nice dining atmosphere. Food tasted delicious & served warm. Portion & Price were okay. We went on Friday evening. It was very busy. Luckily we reserved the table one day before. We liked the appetizers & pasta. The kids loved their DIY dessert experiences. Their kid meal desserts came with choices of vanilla or Chocolate sundae and few little plates with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, little sprinkle candies. Will visit again.

The very first visit. A very nice restaurant. Food is good, service is fine. It's good that I picked this Italian restaurant for lunch. I was to go for dinner, however, 3 days ago, 5:15 PM and after were all booked. If one ever wants to dine there, a reservation is strongly recommended.

The fresh mozzarella is off the charts!! The pasta is so delicious!! And the pizza is authentically made!! I’m salivating just thinking of my last meal 🤤 The only downside to my dinner was the slightly slow service due to being understaffed but such is life and the food made my belly happy 😃

Came here for lunch around noon on a week day. Got table immediately which is great. Service is fine, food quality very acceptable but the kitchen was s-l-o-w. My pizza took over 35 minutes to show up. It wasn't a packed restaurant mind you. So if you don't mind the wait, then it's fine.

Went here for a birthday and I feel like they were a bit short-staffed. When we ordered for a group, the food was slow and they forgot to bring out the salad that we ordered. Thankfully our waitress was kind enough to wave that fee and provided it for us regardless. The decor and atmosphere is amazing at this location with frames even for the TVs which is a nice accent. The dishes that we received didn’t seem too clean as they felt a bit oily and this was consistent throughout the night.

Again and again the folks at this location amaze me with the experience , they have an amazing attitude and are great with kids , I have 3 crazy boys and they love this place too - I was here for my 40th (which is the new 29 I must add) and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else - if you're like me and have been to every restaurant , don't be fooled by the Oakville scaddabush location , they're quite horrible and have no sense of hospitality , empathy or customer service they Suck like no other and are rude people to deal with beyond belief from the junior staff all the way up to senior management . I have and would always rate them the exact opposite of the richmond hill location and the amazing people , amazing atmosphere , amazing everything - thank you scaddabush richmond hill for being the way you are ❤️

Party of 5....got seated promptly, however no server for 25 mins. Had to flag down a server! Meanwhile, other servers walks pass our table numerous times!

The place is ok.Nice interior!Mostly friendly service!Almost messed up my reservation though.The food was good,but for an Italian place not too offer some free bread is not cool.I paid for that,And it was a bit high in price.Would i go back,Not totally sure of i would want too pay 90$ again for 2 mains,2 Drinks,And bread.You get what i mean!

Food was terrible. Pasta stick together - either overcooked or not fresh. Straight up Meatball was too salty. Bruschettas and fries were way too oil. Pesto Pollo Fettuccine was bland. Portion was ok, but not worth the price because food was just so bad - either bland or too salty. Service - 1 star. Waitress was nice but not attentive and not helpful. Didn't check on us. Had to look for her whenever we need something. No refill on water, coffee, or pops.

Wouldn’t rush back. I ordered the shrimp pasta dish which I have had before. This time it was loaded with garlicky cream sauce. Way too rich. Really upset my stomach.

I been there twice booth times the food was amazing. I would recommend it for any occasion fun family restraint.

Food was delicious! Servers were very attentive and friendly - only complaint was when we made our reservations we indicated that we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary and we were sat at the small table against a pillar (not exactly romantic) I suggest reviewing the special requests on your reservations

This place used to be pretty good when it first opened. The food is not as good as before and the service isn't too bad.

Excellent experience.My husband had a good time yesterday. We loved the mozzarella cheese that they make fresh in the restaurant, we were able to share this moment with my 3 year old boy over there . We definitely recommend this place.

Sherway Location - Music exponentially better than my meal. This is not Italian cuisine. Closer to North Americanized 3 generations in Italian food. Nonna is rolling over in her grave. I had a simple cavatappi with tomato sauce. Noodles undercooked not even al denté. Sauce tasteless. Temperature warm. Waitress took my drink order once, came back midway meal to ask if I’d like something else. If not for my pleasant company - I would rate my experience lower. Stay away from this chain resto - spend your money elsewhere.

Walked in yesterday for dinner and the Asian hostess led me behind a packed table in the lounge that was wedged beside a coatrack and I stubbed my sandalled toe - HARD trying to follow her. Instead of apoiogizing or responding to my offer for a less crowded area (they were not that full a6 6:30!) she said I could have "walked the other way around" and that "all areas were like this". THIS is customer service?! Walked out. Never going to this place again. EVER.

Friendly fast service for Saturday dinner hour. Very fresh pasta, fully enjoyed. Hopefully I can come again sometime!!

Nice rustic feel to it, while also looking fancy. Food and service were amazing. They have small, regular and share plates for the pastas. I went with 3 other people, and our bill was only 50-60$
