Reviews Sandy's Deli Diner

We were staying in Renfrew Ontario while visiting my parents in a nearby town. Hoping to find a place to get breakfast, I started calling around but everything, and I mean everything was closed down for Christmas day, including our hotel’s kitchen. One place, Sandy’s Deli, answered their phone but alas, they were closed today too. So we were getting ready to leave and the man from Sandy’s Deli calls back and explains the diner is closed to have family over for Christmas dinner and that we are welcomed to stop by to get something to eat. We were grateful and touched by the offer and so we headed on over and wow, not only did we get to eat but we got a bonafide homemade Christmas dinner! The food was delicious! Sandy is quite the cook and by the way, her sandwiches are awesome (I stopped here a few years ago). Albert, Sandy and Suzie and their family were warm and generous, they even refused payment for the meal, and we cannot thank them enough for welcoming us on such a special day.

Met Al the owner and what a delight. Got to see all the neat cars he worked on. Clean and friendly service. Food was delicious. I'm impressed. I'm new to the Renfrew County but loving every day more and more with high quality shops like this one
