Prairie smoke and spice BBQ.
Is a food truck and a catering business. Which their foods as a food truck Is the best in the city of Regina. I was looking for unique experience for our wedding anniversary, we were having celebration on Willow Island in Wascana Park in Regina. Which proved a bit of a logistical concerns for some caters, one transportation to the island by boat and the weather.
The other thing I was looking for was BBQ not the type of meals of burger and dogs . Looking though their catering menus of Prairie smoke and spice BBQ, I saw that they do a whole Hog.
Wow what meal! The meat just melt in your mouth. The coleslaw and the bake bean were delicious. Over all it was one the best meals I ever had catered . The staff did outstanding job setting up and serving the meal , they were very friendly and helpful . If you are in Regina and you see their food truck go for the best in town. If your looking for a cater they are one of the best in my books.

Got a little peckish while shopping at the Farmer's Market on Saturday so I decided to grab a sandwich at the Prairie Smoke food truck. The person taking orders recommended the brisket so I ordered one with coleslaw on top. The beef was very flavorful, juicy and tender. It was exactly as brisket should be. The bun it was served on was soft and really soaked up the excess juices. My only complaint is the slaw. It was just ok. I think the cabbage was from a bag which is very disappointing considering that there are at least 12 vendors just seconds away at the Farmer's Market selling some of the best cabbage money can buy. However, I did like the added apple. It gave it a different texture and some sweetness. I would also like to compliment the way that that food trucks are setup at the market this year. They have their own area right next to the tables. It is much better than in previous summers. All in all, Prairie Smoke is likely the best BBQ in Regina. I encourage them to expand their menu a bit. It would be nice to get some ribs and maybe corn on the cob when it is in season. next month. Regardless, I am sure I will be back multiple Saturdays this summer and fall.
I've been eyeing these guys for a while now and was able to try Prairie Smoke BBQ at the K-Days Rib Fest. I ordered Half Rack Ribs. In my opinion, these ribs were probably the tastiest ribs I've ever had in a BBQ joint. They would have been my favourite in this K-Days Rib Fest if the ribs that I got wasn't dry...
If you like real BBQ, then don't miss out on this place!. This guy is a bonafide KCBS BBQ champion. Although I don't think his food is being served daily at a competition quality (how could it - no one could afford the cost!) you are missing out if you don't give him a try. Family owned and run by some real good people. I am a very fussy eater, and I wouldn't miss out on a morsel of food prepared by these guys!! Go give them a try!
Visiting from Saskatoon for the McCartney concert. The day after the concert we went downtown to try the food trucks. I tried the beef brisket at the Prairie Smoke truck with a side of beans. My first time with brisket and it was so tender and flavourful. And the beans were so good, with a bit of kick. The woman and man working the truck were chatty, friendly, and enthusiastic. The park setting in that area is really nice as well. A very good experience.
Mmmm I looked forward to this truck all winter and winter was freaking long. I personally love their cup of cue the pulled pork is to die for I have no problem standing in line for it yum yum. Keep up the great work guys!
Good. The taste of the brisket is excellent but the meat had some chewy pieces which I had to remove. The pulled pork is pretty good. I would say this though: the service is excellent especially when the owner is working. It is a pleasure to buy sandwiches there.

Tasty brisket, but fairly expensive.
Pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on top was perfect. The smokey flavour of the meat was very apparent. Delicious.
