For a reasonably affordable and filling lunch in the city, this is the place. Possible to call ahead. For a special lunch day (Thanksgiving or Xmas time if have), reccomended to make a preorder at least a day or two ahead of time.
OMG. Dedicated gluten free deli, but also a bakery. I love Joes cinnamon buns.
We grabbed a few donuts and some hamburger buns which were awesome tasting. I’ll be back for sure.

Incredible selection of various options including Gluten free and even potato and rice substitutes. They also cut meat to order and have fantastic quality meats. Finally they have THE BEST sandwiches in the city, no question. Do yourself a favour and get here for a ham & turkey, you won’t regret it or any of the other meats in their MASSIVE selection.
I have bought a lot of different things from Joe's over the last couple of years (bread, cake, pies, sausages, treats, and more) and it's all been really good, with the exception of a couple of things I thought were just okay.
Hot tip: their lunch special is always really good (Ukrainian platter and steak sandwich are particular favourites) — check out their Facebook page for lunch menus each week.
We used Joe's for our wedding meal of perogies, sausage, cabbage rolls, etc. The meal was absolutely fantastic! We had some dietary restrictions which they accommodated without issue. Very pleased with the service and food!

I thoroughly enjoy the lunches that Joe provides on a near daily basis.
Recently, we also had him cater our wedding, and it was absolutely delicious. There was a ton of great food, and I heard no complaints about the food whatsoever. I even had an uncle come up to me and tell me that this was the best meal at a wedding that he has ever experienced.
Very good. I gave him 5 stars a year ago, and I stand by that 5 stars today
