Great service, fun atmosphere and good food. I've been for breakfast and supper and was not disappointed either time. Burgers were amazing and the price was even better.
Awesome place... The homemade food is delicious... Never had a problem with the waitresses always super friendly and nice when my wife and I go in there... Staple every time I stop in Regina... I would recommend it
The Mercury is the old school diner I've been waiting for in Regina. While I'd visited the diner about a year ago and left unsatisfied, I decided to give it a second chance after having been told it came under new management. I was not disappointed this time around! Place was clean, service was great and the food was so good. I had the basic eggs, potatoes and toast and sausage. Loved it!
Sweet&Sour Vermicelli Soup - Soup of the Day. Excellent 10 stars
My husband and I stopped in for breakfast this morning. Overall it was tasty. We both had the traditional breakfast. My only complaint would be that the hashbrowns are basically a deep fried potato chip. I would prefer pan fried cubed potatoes. Price is right, our bill was actually under $20, which doesn't happen very often....
Nice lil burger joint... Possibly the best hangover food... If you're looking for grease then this is the spot...
THE BEST BURGERS ON THE PLANET !!!!!. I consider myself an objective foodie. I've searched for "the perfect burger" for years. I finally found it at the Mercury cafe and grill! We were there on August 24 2013 for the first time. As with some of the other reviews, don't be put off by the wait (yes it does take a bit longer then expected). But their food is definitely worth waiting for! I ordered a cheeseburger and fries and my wife ordered a mushroom burger and the soup of the day (potato bacon).
Now about their burgers,.. I can not begin to say enough about them but here goes; The patty has a nice crispy texture on the outside, a nice moist inside and it's just the right size. AND IT'S GOT FLAVOR!! The Swiss cheese gives it a nice nutty taste, perfectly melted and it comes with a tomato and pickle. The bun is the right size (not to big, not to small), lightly toasted and buttered and gives a nice crunch when you bite into it. The mushroom burger was equally succulent! And their potato bacon soup!?,.. to die for! This chef knows how to make amazing food. The soup had a velvety texture, nice big pieces of bacon, tender potatoes..and again,...FLAVOR that you'll never forget! The home cut fries had a nice crunch,.. right till the last fry!
I would go on and on,.. but,. we're on vacation. Needless to say,.. we'll be back,..soon! For all of you out there,.... do you want to try the best burger on the planet? Go to the Mercury Cafe and Grill,... relax,.. and enjoy the best burger you'll ever eat! Oh,.. and one more thing,.. at even $15.00 per person,.. you won't leave hungry, that's for sure! A great value for the price! I can't wait top go back on our next trip.
I dont recommend this place if you are in a hurry. I'm a tradesman for example. I have to get in eat and get out, pronto. This is the place to take your time and enjoy your company. The service is slow but pleasant. The food is greasy, but always good.
Under-Rated. RELAX... That's the advice I give to people who have problems with the service. Our service was nuanced, but totally fine. 3 adults and a 3-year-old, they provided crayons and a colouring sheet to occupy our toddler. Food was great, service was accommodating. Place has a lot of regulars that may distract serving staff but so what. RELAX. BTW, $6 kiddie burger w/ fries is HUGE. Only the bun is small.
