Review Sparky's Family Restaurant - Regina

Went and grabbed a poutine as they are right next door to my apartment and I was actually blown away with how good it was. Hot, fresh and really good gravy. The lady helping me was super friendly and I made sure to call and let them know. Definitely found my new poutine spot here in town and will be going back for sure. I'd highly recommend checking them out as the food is great and prices haven't sky rocketed like most places. I'd have to give them a solid 10/10.

Dropped by for lunch. The pizza here is awesome. We ordered the 4 cheese small size with black olives and chicken topping. It was so nice we ordered the veg to take home. One of the best pizzas! The service was great too, fast and polite.

So I have lived in BC for 11 years after moving away from Sask, I searched far and wide as a pizza lover for those years and never found a place as good as the worlds best pizza: Sparky’s Pizza! I am all about pizza I eat it about once a week and I can say no place compares to the quality of taste on top of the unbelievable deal! It’s an XL 1 toping for 19.99 and you get a drink! If you ever such down please tell me so I can have one last slice one last time, until then keep making the best pizzas I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Thank you.

It was fantastic! Nice little pub style place. I ordered a beef, onion, tomato and feta Pizza. It was at least 1and1/2 inchs thick in the middle! Could only eat a few pieces. Great value! Great taste. You have to try it for yourself to believe it!

These guys always have absolutely amazing Pizza. And how can you beat a two topping pizza extra large for $22.49. there's not too many places in town that can beat that. Lots of TV's, vlts, super friendly staff. And very clean inside.

Very accomadtiong with a large reservation with no notice . Food was good and the price was unbeatable !

We met our son and his friends there. The staff were great and the vibe was warm, local and friendly. They were having pizza and said it was great. I dont think you can go wrong with a visit here. Al

This place is AMAZING! They have the best pizzas you will find in Regina. The crust is not too doughy and not too crispy. They have very reasonable prices and offer bottomless drinks (Soft Drinks) when you dine-in or a free bottle of pop included when you take-out. They provide all the sporting events like the UFC. They also have great service.

For a local dive they make amazing food at a great price.

The best pizza in the city and for a good price.

I was there last night for a birthday and everything g was awesome! The service was awesome (until the karaoke started, then we had to go to the bar for drinks) the food was fast and usual pub fare. We ordered a bit of everything and it was all good! I will be back for sure!

This place is horrible. They offer a huge amount of food for a cheap price. Reason is that the food is of low quality. Will never eat from here again. Wings taste freezer burnt and smell off. The ribs are cheap gross little pieces of scraps. The pizza sauce/dough is okay but the meat is not good at all. Barely ate anything. What's a waste of $$

2016-02-19    Pizza Supper It gets a 4, but we only get the Pizza for pick-up, have never dined-in.  We drive from the North-end for their pizzas.  They usually have a $20 Two topping + Drink special and we add extra toppings.  There are many places for this type of pizza in Regina, but we just like how they make theirs and it's half the price of Triple 8 Rochdale which we use to go to.  It's worth a try  ;)

Went here on Friday with a friend as we wanted pizza, it was a mistake. The service was so slow and our waitress didn't refill our drinks or ask how the food was. She finally came back and threw the bill on the table without even saying thank you or asking if we needed anything. Will not be back.

I was with a group of people and tried to order pizza, they said the kitchen was closed but people continuously had pizza brought to them for delivery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible at best!. Sure they have a $19.99 xl pizza..but you get what you pay for. Pizza is super greasy.. even though there's not much meat that is put on pizza..I had corner's of the pizza with just a thin layer of cheese.. No meat on them what so ever. Just think on why the pizza is that cheap..they gotta make money..so the ingredients that are used are not of good quality at all.

Almost puked when I sat at my table.... Please... send a health inspector...

Pizza is Great. The secret ingredient to the sauce is..... ketchup!! (same as Tumblers) Everybody can make it, but do we want to?... hell no!! Lots of toppings on a big pizza for a cheap price, Sparky's rocks this deal!

Honestly, this place rocks. Stop cutting them down based on their location. You have to be realistic here; if sparky's did renovations you would not get the same deal on pizza as you are currently getting- and they only have a 4 dollar delivery fee opposed to a 6 or 8 at other places. The place is clean, fast, fresh, and friendly and delicious. You can't ask for aby thing else. So stop complaining and go have a cheep beer and sparky's .

One of Regina's best dives. Sparky's is a dirty run down little bar in south Regina that makes awesome bar food and has cheap beers. Their pizza is huge and thick with salty greasy cheese - if you like that kind of pizza this is best place in town to get it. Also a great place to go for karaoke! Highly recommended if you're into this sort of place.

Good Pizza Good Value. I always get take out, Product is reasonably priced and tastes good. It is a very basic thick pizza with a bar-b-que tomato sauce. Similar to the over priced Tumbler's pizza. So if you are looking for this type of pizza this is a place to get it for a fair price. The restaurant/bar is a little run down and tired. That is why I take out.

The pick up special is the best pizza deal in the city! Can't go wrong with an XL pizza for only $20! We ordered 2 tonight and they were so delisious. Lots of toppings all round great quality pizza.

PIZZA FAILED BIGTIME. I was reading an earlier post that the owner of Sparkys used to work at Tumblers so thought the pizza would be pretty dam tasty<br/><br/>Ordered an all dressed large <br/><br/>Got home and it was not cooked enough, middle was doughy, the veggies inside were crunchy, and not enough cheese. The crust was quite hard, had no taste -- just dough, and the sauce did not have much taste. Im going back to Tumblers, been there 20 years, there must be a reason

This pizza is the best in regina, but don't order it to go or it will be really soggy on the bottom. But of you just go in sit down and order it is delicious!

Awesome food. Finally tried the pizza this weekend, it was excellent the best in Regina!!! Prompt delivery service too...will be ordering again soon

One of the best. Had a craving for pizza today. We wanted something different, something we hadn't had before, so we checked the phone book and ran across Sparky's. Whatever pizza I buy, it's got to be an all-dressed. Well that's what I ordered. When I went to pick it up, the girl said "this is a really a heavy one". I told her that's just the way I like it!! I'm not saying it's the tastiest pizza I ever had, but it rates right up there. The topping was the most I've seen on an all-dressed and the price incomparable. We will be back, maybe this long weekend. Strongly recommend.

Really great pizza. Sparky's has been a south Regina landmark for a while now. Serving REGINA pizza, which has a long and storied tradition in many of the Greek pizza houses in the city.<br/><br/>This is not pizza for those who are more attuned to the "brick oven alternative" pizzas with avocado, artichokes, sprouts and a sprinkling of some exotic dairy that I have never heard of, on whole wheat crust baked till burnt. If this is what you are looking for, then go elsewhere.<br/><br/>Sparky's has the stuff we in Regina are looking for. Lotsa topppings, lotsa really good mozzerella, and a REAL pizza crust, baked to perfection. And great sauce. And, extra large 2 topping special cannot be beat anywhere else in the city.<br/><br/>So, your choice. Burnt "Brick Oven" shingle, or what pizza was meant to be. Thick, nummy and oh-so-gooey-good. They do it well, and congrats to them. I appear often at their door, for sure.

Great for Take-out. Good deals and yummy pizza! Always fast delivery and we have never had a bad experience. Can't speak for the dine-in experience as we've only ever ordered take out.

Ordered a takeout XL 2-topping from here after reading previous reviews. Great pizza for a great price, and they threw in some pop no charge. The server was friendly too. It'll be my go-to pizza place from here on in.

This place had a cozy feel I went on a Sunday for pizza it was $21.34 for a Xlarge and the pizza was fabulous. I get hungry when ever I think about it. It's beyond worth going to however keep in mind it is a bar

Best pizza by far in regina for the best price. staff is friendly and very nice to look at. Great place to bring ur baseball team for beer and pizza...plus u get a free pizza if u have a team of atleast 7 people!

My dog wouldn't even eat this pizza. If you like sweet soggy uncooked greasy pizza this is for you.

Pizza and good times. There's no denying that Sparky's is kind of a hole-in-the-wall joint, but if you can get past that, it's home to some of the best pizza you can buy in this city. Chewy crust, a unique (kind of sweet!) but not overpowering sauce, and just the perfect amount of great quality toppings... yum. Plenty of other tasty pub grub to be had too. Plus, karaoke on weekends is an awesome time to bring a bunch of friends and make fools of yourselves, but hey, no one's judging here!
