Review Breakfast Bistro - Regina

A great place to go for weekend brunch but get there early enough because there's usually a 30 minute wait. The food is tasty with great presentation.

I'm a big breakfast person and breakfast bistro is Amazing. Many ites to choose from. Great coffee and mimosas.

Really disappointed, ordered a pitcher of Sangria for $27, got a carafe with more ice than drink. The carafe held two and a half drinks. On the menu the drinks were 9$ each, so we tried to explain this to the owner and she was quite rude. Her reason was it was on the menu and there was no changing it. Food was okay but have had better for that price at breakfast dinners.

I’ve come here a handful of times and each time I’ve come the food has been absolutely stellar. Service has been amazing. The one chick with her head shaven is fantastic with service; speedy and friendly. However, I’ve noticed several times one of the managers yelling at the workers. I’ve even heard her from the kitchen area. It disrupted our meal and we made sure to leave a good tip because we felt bad for them.

Had the two eggs, classic breakfast and it was very good. The Italian sausage has a nice little bit of heat and the hash browns are also very good! Endless coffee refills as well, 👍

I'm usually the type of person who steers clear of any breakfast egg option; however, Breakfast Bistro changed the game. Only place I've ever had breakfast that I have ever enjoyed having eggs for breakfast. Their Eggs Benedict have such a high reputation and I am happy to hop on that band wagon. Different breakfast options to choose and their oven potatoes are something I crave from time-to-time. Only thing I wish could possibly improve is maybe wait time on when food is served. Some times food is served a little on the colder side.

What a great dining experience this was! Went with a few girlfriends and we all really enjoyed our meals. The service was fast and friendly. Two thumbs up!

So incredibly delicious! Highly recommend the Asparagus and Brie Eggs Benny! 10 out of 10! Service was fast and friendly. Next time we are in Regina we will be back for sure!

Let me start off by saying I used to recommend this place. This will now change. Me and my two girlfriends went today and had the worst experience. We ordered our meal at 12:30 and didn't get it until 1:45. Our waitress didn't even come by the table to say our meal was on it's way or that the kitchen was backed up. At 1:30 I told the waitress that I had to leave by 1:45 so I asked to have the bill right away and have my plate boxed up. By 1:44 I still didn't have my bill or plate. I told our waitress that I was leaving right then but I as I was getting up, my meal was ready. When I got home my food was soggy and cold; absolutely inedible. The owner of the place didn't even apologize for the wait, she was very blunt and rude. Do yourselves a favour and avoid this place like the plague. I will never go back.

Breakfast Bistro has been my go-to for weekend brunch since it opened in its original (smaller) location. This Sunday however, our party of 5 was not impressed with the 1-hour wait for our food or the meals once they finally came. Obviously with being one of Regina's only standalone brunch spots it gets pretty busy on the weekends. With decent service and communication this is understandable. Unfortunately we weren't informed about the 30+ min wait for food until we had been seated for just over an hour. The owner came by afterwards and was very friendly but unapologetic and did nothing to remedy the poor service and overall experience. As for the meals, the prices are relatively expensive for simple breakfast staples and are composed of entirely too many roasted potatoes (and an underwhelming amount of everything else). I could recommend BB in the future if they beefed up their kitchen and serving staff to accommodate the weekend brunch crowd.

One of my favourite places to go for breakfast ! The food is always fresh and very tasty , I went and tried out the night time menu at LUNA and it to was very Delicious, the atmosphere and service was great � I would recommend this place to anyone ... the French toast and the waffles are a must try. I also tried the chicken roulade and the ribs , it was very fresh and extremely filling. If your looking to go out with the family and want to leave with a full stomach this place never disappoints with there portion sizes, you totally get what you pay for.

I used to enjoy this place when they had their smaller restaurant. Even though you would still wait about 20-25 minutes for breakfast, the food was good when it came and it was enjoyable. Last time I came with my family the wait for the food was pretty long and today was even worse. For working in the restaurant industry most of my life I'm familiar with adequate bill times and ease of service. Today to wait 45-1 hour for breakfast food is just unacceptable. Eggs take minutes to make and hash browns and bacon should be prepped every morning to allow for efficient service. If any of my tables waited 45 minutes for their food, they're bill would be automatically compensated to apologize for poor service. On top of that when we got our food it looked like some of the dishes had been sitting for a while (room temp eggs, hollandaise that had a film on it, over cooked eggs sitting under a warmer), plus there was a lot more hash browns then eggs, meat, or fruit (measly three pieces of melon). Unimpressed with the quality of food for the high price. All in all, this place needs more kitchen staff, a proper expo to deal with bill times, and better management when you have a poor experience. The manager came over and basically explained that they give you more hash browns so you don't leave hungry. Too bad I lost my appetite after 45 minutes of waiting.

Great food, very poor service.. to the point where they completely ignore your table, don't do quality checks to see how you like your food/need a refill on your coffee. After our waitress took our food order, she stopped coming around. Too busy apparently offering refills and things to the other tables to even stop and ask as she walked right past us multiple times. We even had someone else give us our food, & our waitress only came back to give us our bill. Disappointing considering the amount of quality reviews this place had.. I had high hopes.

We were pleasantly surprised that we just missed the morning rush and the traditional line up. We had the salmon Bennie and the chicken and waffles and ate every single piece of food on our plates. The little fresh fruit cup included. In addition we started with the bacon skewer Caesar and finished up with the most unique and refreshing coconut mojito we have ever had. Both of which were unbelievably delicious! Our waitress was equally the reason why we will be back!!! She was helpful with the menu, very pleasant, efficient and shared personal experiences which helped us to decide what to have. She is excellent!

I have never been to a restaurant that makes you feel more like family!!! great atmosphere, amazing food, by far the best restaurant in regina. The staff and owners are the absolute best and really know how to treat their costumers. They also have an amazing back room that holds quite a few people.

The food and service was lovely. The breakfast special when I was there the other day was very well presented and tasted even better. Atmosphere was very relaxed and they were very accommodating to our needs when we arrived. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice spot to have breakfast/brunch. Love this place. Family owned and run. I love their fresh food and I never mind waiting (but don't normally wait long) because it's made from scratch and I know how good it will be when it arrives! The service is always excellent and I highly recommend this restaurant...their evening restaurant Luna is amazing!
