I was here on Saturday morning for brunch with my family. The menu has so many options that it was hard to choose what to get! I ordered the eggs Benedict and they were alright, nothing too special and the sauce was kind of bland. Our waitress seemed like she had way too many tables to tend to while the other waitresses were just standing around. It took 20 minutes for us to receive our bill. The food is decent and so are the prices, but the service was lacking.
Large menu with much to choose from. All day breakfast; can't go wrong with that! Food was good and the price was ok depending on what you go. A got a chicken dish and barely got anything, buddies got breakfast and got a ton of food for the price. But either way tasted great. Server was terrible though. We were polite and easy going and she seemed to have our table. Two tables got their food before us and they showed up much later then us!
I go there for the pies. Perkins has pretty good pies. They had their lemon meringue pie on display which looked VERY visually appealing. Their peanut butter silk also looked pretty good. I was determined to have the banana cream pie. The banana cream pie tasted pretty delicious but, visually, it did not look as good as the others that I mentioned. My slice almost looked like it had collapsed (but, at least, it was tasty though). The rest of the menu is pretty ordinary with nothing sticking out for me. I would mainly go there if I am feeling like a cream pie.
Breakfast for lunch was great as usual. The hostess was very grouchy. Too bad she had to ruin the experience.
Best Breakfast around. My work crew used to go to Smitty's all the time for breakfast until someone suggested Perkins. No comparison.......goodbye Smitty's.Great food and I love the choice of pancakes or toast.
Love the breakfast here. Usually a long line up but it is worth the wait cuz they have good food and good portions. Pancakes and waffles are great.
Good consistent breakfast. We go to Perkins all the time for breakfast because it's always good. My husband is quite picky about how he wants his eggs cooked and they always do it right. Omelettes are never overcooked, pancakes are delicious, the fruit in the fruit cups are ripe and tasty and the skillets and benedicts are always good. Morning staff are very friendly and service is quick.
Perkins: Not bad at all. I like Perkins. It's nothing particulary special- more like your standard breakfast chain restaurant. However, they have a delicious peanut butter pie (if you really like peanut butter)! They do offer sandwiches and dinner entrees but I prefer to stick to their breakfast/brunch fare- that's where this restaurant shines brightest.
Enjoyable pancakes!. This morning was not the first time that I have come for breakfast, so I knew what to expect. I ordered the pancakes (a 5-stack) and it was light, filling, and just really well done! The are not thick nor dense like some other pancakes at other places, and the food came out quite quickly. The service was extremely frequent... almost too much so, actually. The price was good ($7), and the place started to get busy at around 9:00 am.

Great service and consistently good breakfast experiences, make this one of the few places that I'd go to if I ever get too lazy in the morning to make something myself.
