Review Wann Izakaya - Regina

Great place for Regina, pretty average if compared to the coast. I'd stop by again for sure next time I'm here. Service is great but menu is pretty limited. What I've ordered was tasty. Location I decent. Music way too loud.

Ramen broth was salty for my taste, but the noodles were quite good. Shrimp tempura was small and just ok tasting (as per teen kid 2). Server was kind, and atmosphere was nice. Their green tea was one of the best I've had in Canada. Asian spice fries were great, but salty too!

We're from Toronto and have experienced creamier, richer broth. Roulette takoyaki balls were fun. Dynamite roll would not pay for $10 and calamari was a little more burnt than expected. Great customer service though and a nice vibe. Parking in the back is free after 4pm (but we had to ask).

An interesting (good) experience. First time here. It was not far from my hotel (Delta). Had a spicy tonkasu Ramen bowl, some tagarashi fries and some warm sake. The food was excellent. Tasty balanced fries. Nice half spice tonka. The sake was more dramatic... They were out of the warm sake, but had the cold one of the same brand... so I asked them to warm it up... they don't know the proper technique to warm up sake (it's similar to a Bain marie). So they ended up microwaving it. I had a lukewarm / slightly cold sake. I drank it and asked for a second one, and to be warm up twice the first time they did. The second one was proper even if microwaved. The waitress was nice and nevertheless helpful. The place had a nice atmosphere. I would go again.

Food was below average except for sashimi which was fresh. In each order, some tempura items were fresh and hot while others were cold and stale. Miso soup was cold. The wait staff were friendly but didn't seem experienced. They forgot to bring us water and drinks and some food items. Maybe understaffed. But will not go back as food was underwheming.

Always receive consistently great food. My son LOVES their ramen. The spicy tuna poke bowl is unreal. This is the go to ramen place in Regina, hands down.

My favourite ramen and sushi place in Regina. The ramen broth is amazing. We've been going for years and consistently receive amazing food with great service.

The Ramen broth was good. The pork/meat portion was lacking a lot. They were as thin as cold cold cuts. I was disappointed. I had a chicken side dish added to it.

I enjoyed the appetizers but they had many menu items that were unavailable which was annoying. Also the beef yakisoba I got tasted very cheap and sour, it seemed old...I couldn’t eat it and when I let the server know she offered to pack it up for me? Very confusing and irritating. I won’t return..

I've sat at tables for 2 and tables for 15 and the service is always super great! The ramen is to die for, but everything is fresh and delicious every time! Wann is a hidden gem in Regina for sure! I've been a bunch already and will definitely be back!

Fantastic! A group of us went. Stuffed ourselves on sushi which only cost us $20 each. Saki flight was awesome! Would like to see gluten free soya sauce please.

the ramen was on point. A little pricer compared to other 17 dollar lunches but the 12 hour broth was very tasty...

Good atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. Especially impressed with their ramen as it's actually the kind you see sold in big cities and not some cheap knockoff like the ones i have encountered in other restaurants here. . Only two types so far, but tasted both and they were delicious. Will be counting myself as a future regular.

Server was great as well as the food.... shashimi portions small and disappointed no sockeye but the tempura veggies and Cucumber roll got a thumbs up from my date.... she won't eat fish!! Will be back!

This is the first place in Regina that makes REAL Raman! I lived in Japan for 3 years and have always wanted to have Raman since I returned to Canada. Finally! This is it!!! The tonkatsu Raman is exactly what it should be! Combined with gyoza and even the wooden spoon, it brings me right back to my time in Japan. "Oishi desu! Domo arigato gozaimasu!" I will definitely be back.

This is not the place to go if you are looking for good Sushi. Waited 40 minutes for it to arrive. The sushi was overpriced and not the freshest.

The ramen here is so delicious! The best in Regina, hands down.

I waited for my Ramen noodles for 40 mins watching all my 6 friends having their noodles and bento boxes and finally got the noodles with the same quality of the instant noodles bought from Superstore, at the price of $14. very disappointed for my first attempt. should've just gone directly without paying it.
