I had dinner here for the first time last night. Upon arriving we were seated and given menus. The waitress brought us water and asked if we had any questions about the menu, she was polite and very quick. We ordered a large vegetarian borscht and shared it. It was delicious, very well seasoned, and the bun that came with it was so fresh. We ordered one Kozak and one mini Kozak. The portion sizes were fair and the food was delicious. The atmosphere of the place is warm and cheery with all of the Ukrainian decor and music. I hope to come here again in the future!
I loved everything about this place the cozy atmosphere he super friendly staff & the great tasting food. I got the Kozak meal so I could try a little of everything like the cabbage rolls, sauerkraut pierogis & Ukrainian sausage & also got the mama's soup which is a chicken & dumpling soup. The cabbage rolls were awesome sausage was also great & pierogis were good but would get the cheese potato next time sauerkraut ones were just not my thing. The soup was probably tie for my favourite part of the meal with the cabbage rolls it was delicious salted perfectly with lots of chicken & dumplings.
Wow! Now this is food. Everyone and their mother need to try this place. We had cabbage rolls and perogies and soup. The flavours are awesome. The service is also amazing as well !!!! The ladies are so nice
We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The cabbage rolls were amazing. The "shubba" salad was nice, but you have to like pickled herring.

My husband and I have recently visited this restaurant and were more than happy. We loved the authentic decor that reminded us of many places that we have visited in Central-Eastern Europe. We found the European-sized portions to be just right and the prices were reasonable. This restaurant offers home-made delicious food made from scratch which we really appreciated. This is a must visit in Regina for those who like something unique. We will be back and recommend it to all of our (not only adventurous) friends.
Very good meal!. The service was friendly and fast. Food was delicious and seemed authentic. Prices very reasonable. Can't believe a reviewer thought the portions were too small or the prices too high. My husband and I shared an appetizer and each had a meal (he had just perogies and I had perogies and cabbage rolls) and we were full. Will be back!
Excellent. We went for lunch. Great atmosphere. The food is very good. My wife had the herring salad and said it was "to die for".
We just had Christmas diner. Great food.
Excellent and authentic Ukrainian diner. While the menu isn't extensive, they serve 'real' Ukrainian food, desserts and even drinks at very good prices. Дуже смачно і дякую!
I absolutely loved everything about this place staff were super friendly and food was great. I wanted to try as much as possible so I got the kozak meal it comes with cabbage rolls, sauerkraut pierogies and Ukrainian sausage and I also got the mamas soup which is chicken and dumpling soup. The cabbage rolls and soup were my favorite parts of my meal sausage and pierogies were also good.
Best Perogies I have ever had! Cabbage rolls were also very good! Garlic bun is a hit with me! Reminds me of my late grandmas kitchen/food, haven’t had anything like this since 2004! Was much needed! Will be back!!!
Excellent food! We had Borschtsch, Mama's chicken soup, "the top ten" mixed plate of cabbage rolls and pierogies as well as blueberry pierogies as dessert. I would like to have more!
Meh. No complaints at all about the food, delicious! Homemade perogies was a plus. Water tasted like tap water, restaurant ambiance could be better (cold fluorescent lighting) and you can't order a dish of perogies, cabbage rolls and kielbasa as we were told it's too difficult for the kitchen for just a table of 2. But the food you do get is delicious!
I have dreams about eating the perogies, sausage, and borshch from here. Reminds me of my grandparents, down to the table and tablecloth. Set in a renovated house, it really feels like someone is having you over for their delicious home-cooked meals.
This is a charming cozy cute intimate restaurant with real authentic home made food. A genuine family business like this is always a good find. I had the chicken and dumpling soup, and a mixed plate and my friend had the vegetarian borscht. Then we shared a raspberry crepe for dessert. Everything was Delicious.
I’ve notices a couple reviews that said this place was over priced. My advice to them is that if they wanted to save the extra $2 on a meal then go get a happy meal or stay home. Not over priced at all and worth every penny. Very cozy and charming atmosphere. The food was delicious. I took my grandmother here for dinner and her exact words were “I haven’t had food that good in ages”. When you take into consideration that it’s a local family owned business you have that much more appreciation for all the hand made food and friendly service.
