Enjoyed a great time at chopped with 2/4 of our high school culinary competition winners from Oneill. Manager welcomed us as well Chef David met us and toured the group thru the kitchen to experience the hustle n bustle of what a real working kitchen looks like as well to explain the intricacies of the inventory system . The menu was explained by an excellent server named Emily who gave us top rated attention. The "carpaccio"as well as the
"Lobster scallop Gorgonzola dip" was delightful and enjoyed by our young chefs. We also order a range of different entrees from the smoked rib eye (10/10) to the roasted mushroom ravioli (which was more than generous after sharing an appie) as well as some large garlic shrimp to round out the orders. The three Desert orders (fallen chocolate soufflé , mini desert trio and the creme brûlée ) were more than enough for four people We had a reservation for 6pm the restaurant was busy and filled up quickly. Over all we highly recommend and our young culinary competitors were impressed with the taste as well with chopped presentation and believe me when I say they would tell u if they weren't. Thanks again chef David and all your staff for a memorable evening
My wife and I went there for the first time and it was on our five year anniversary. It wasn’t overly busy and we got a seat right away. The waitress was simply fantastic. I don’t recall ever having such great service! The meal was incredible and after chatting with the waitress we mentioned that it’s our anniversary. We weren’t expecting anything! We got dessert, no charge. “Congratulations “ was written across the plate in chocolate and she even brought us a card that was signed by all the staff. I think we may be going there on every special occasion!
The food was really good and service was even better! Highly recommend this place for steak lovers. Friendly staff and good management.
The food is delicious😋 The presentation of the food is outstanding👨🍳 The service is incredible⭐️
My parents and I very much enjoyed our first time at this restaurant yesterday (Saturday, October 28th). The hostess and our server went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our meals. I would like to thank the manager for our desserts, which were given to us at no cost. I am very impressed with this restaurant and the wonderful service. I will for sure be going back. I highly recommend it!
Went to Chop last night for our anniversary. Fantastic meal served by attentive staff. The steaks were cooked perfectly! As previous review mentioned, we also were treated to a special dessert and given a card signed by some of the staff. Nice touch. Awesome place, we'll return here.
one of the best steak place in Regina. We went there last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and our server was very pleasant and enthusiastic. The food was excellent and well presented. We will definitely come back.
Booked a reservation on a Sunday evening. The staff was friendly and personable and the food was delicious. I felt it was a good value for my dollar. I would suggest Chop Regina to everyone.
We didn’t know there was a special event yesterday for Internatonal Women’s day. They accommodated us even though they were super busy. Our server, whose name I unfortunately did not get (but I’m sure they could figure out) was so great! He went far beyond what we expected. When he came to check our table after our food had been brought out - he thought the chicken breast on my sisters salad looked over cooked. She hadn’t noticed and certainly hadn’t voiced a concern. He took it upon himself to order a new chicken breast and it came out all tender and juicy! He didn’t have to do that but we appreciated that he noticed and thought they could improve her meal. Pretty outstanding!
We went for my boys’ birthday supper and the meal was excellent. The service went above and beyond our expectation. They made my sons feel very special. Definitely recommend!!!
Prime rib and fries
Prime was excellent. Lunch size. Med rare with juice
Fries not so good. Over cooked and tasted burnt
Greens were fresh and tasty
I definitely in love with this place ❤️ Tuna salad was amazing and there are a huge variety of wines ! Atmosphere and design are probably one of the best in Regina !
Had dinner her last week. We got there when the restaurant was empty and by the time we left it was pretty much full. We were seated right next to where the waitresses bring the food out and key in the tables orders, it was very loud and not at all what we expected. The food was very good, but our waitress seemed occupied and in a rush- yet we were some of the only people in the restaurant? The French onion soup was delicious and the smoked rib-eye steak was cooked perfectly. I would return here, but not anytime soon. I liked the food, I just thought the overall experience wasn't that special.
Came here with friends for a business dinner. Atmosphere is nice, service was excellent, friendly staff made the dinner fun. Food was good. I had the Fillet Mignon because they advertised the 1800F grill being so good. It was good but not great. Another reviewer mentioned for the $$, Golf's serves up a better steak. I agree. One of the steaks had a big piece of fat and grizzle running through it. My buddy who eats everything, couldn't eat it. They did offer a replacement but it was too late for that. Meat has grizzle, luck of the draw, I guess. The Wasabi mashed potatoes were excellent. The deserts were excellent as well!
Went there after the rider game yesterday. Came in and it wasn't busy at all. First impression wasn't great. The hostess got us seated and asked us a question and left as we were answering. Then we waited quite a while, while others were helped multiple times. BUT the server came and gave us free drinks and was excellent from there on out. We ordered the mushrooms with escargot and the lobster dip. For dessert we had the raspberry, white chocolate creme brûlée and the fallen chocolate soufflés cake. Drinks were excellent as well. Will be back and very happy the place corrected their mistake in a classy way, completely turned around the night.
Went for lunch here and was really impressed! This is a great addition to the local dining scene. Reminds me of the Keg, though it is definitely not a clone of it. Initially, I was a bit skeptical because I thought it would be one of those snooty steakhouses. Well, it's not at all. Good atmosphere, good service, and good food. I also like the option of having a dessert sampler. I will be back.
The service was awesome! The food was pretty good too. The appys were fast and delicious, the entrees were also fast and tasted good. We sat in the bar and it's a loud atmosphere. Nothing you can do about that. I would try it again and ask to sit outside, or the dining room maybe.
Ate here Last week and going again tomorrow! Love this place, Service was awesome; pleasant dining experience; the place looks great; great lighting; And everything we ordered was fantastic! I forgot to take a pic of the desert menu and what we ordered, but it was a sampler of 3 items (Just call it the Royal Sampler) and it was great to share among 4 people.
Officially my "FAVE" place to eat in Regina for dining experience with friends.
I had been to this restaurant in Edmonton Alberta in our hotel about 2 years ago and loved it there. I went there for lunch today and had the open faced prime rib sandwich with melted cheese on top and a delicious pepper corn sauce inside! I had a French onion soup as a side dish. And everything was amazing! Our waitress was very inviting and made us feel right at home, her knowledge of the menu was spot on making this newborn restaurant seem like it's been around for a long time! We were on the bar side and were seated at a large booth. The decor is beautiful and modern. The manager was very pleasing as well as the Chef... Our chef was walking by our table and was a true gentleman by greeting us. I can't wait to try supper there!
Service was very good which was surprising for a place that just opened. Everything was well organized and atmosphere was good (although the music on the lounge side was a tad too loud for conversation). Carpaccio was delicious. The smoked rib eye was also excellent with an unusual smokey flavor. Side prawns were great as was the prime rib. Dessert selection looked good although I did not try it.
We got to come for pre launch supper , it was great food was fantastic the decor is great and the staff was unbelievable. Can hardly wait to come back
