Review Milky Way Ice Cream - Regina

I love the ice cream here, but my last visit, I'm not sure what happened, but I was charged more than I should have been. I went with my family and we ordered three medium milkshakes, one medium hard cone, one small hard cone, a small sundae, and a small soft cone. All together, this should have been only a bit over 35$ (I did the math later), but they charged us over 77$. We paid with a card, but complained after, it turns out they added 3 other milkshakes (accident or not, I'm not sure). They took our order again to correct it and issued us a refund in cash. Regardless, it was still a hassle.

I always hear such great things about Milky Way, finally went and was fully disappointed. I got a peach sundae and my friend had a strawberry banana sundae. A part of me hopes they maybe ran out of the right ingredients and just tried to improvise? My peach sundae was vanilla soft serve with drained canned peaches scattered around it, and it took a long time to come out. I guess for a sundae I'd expect some sauce or something? I would have preferred if they said "Actually we are out of X or dont have X right now". The bananas on the strawberry banana sundae were freshly cut and looked pretty they weren't brown at all, but same.. the strawberries, they seemed like they had been drained with we think there might have been some strawberry sauce? it was hard to tell it was pretty watery with not much flavour. We also thought the ice cream tasted like a frozen dessert, it was like eating frozen cool whip. Maybe we just don't have the right taste buds for milky way, but anyway. Probably wont be going back.

Like most of reviews, delicious! A perfect stop along a long road trip across Canada! Congratulations to all for such a good place! Grape soft serve flavour that day was 10/10!

Classic ice cream is all very good. It felt a bit pricey when you got into anything other than a cone like a shake or a twister (like a blizzard at DQ). Anyways was cash only when I was there in the summer. Not sure if that is how it always is or not, but definetly keep that in mind when planning to go here. There is an ATM close by.

Great selection of icecream and options. Almost everytime I've brought my family of 5 they've forgotten to give us one cone and when I ask about it they huff and puff. Lines are wild and their should be signage. Window off to the side should be specifically for handing out icecream.

It's not worth the hype. It's mostly popular because of the name. The ice cream is good but I think it's fairly expensive for what it is. The staff are always kind, but I don't think I'd come back.

Today we tried something new, Cyclones’. They were absolutely terrible. 99% vanilla ice cream, 1% choice of flavor; score, smarties, etc. Very dissatisfied.

We go there every time we're in Regina.. it is THE best.. never a disappointment. Been going there for years. Would be so great to have Milky Way here in Saskatoon someday real soon. I love that they have a diff flavour of soft ice cream each day.. and diff dips for cones ..butterscotch.. cocoanut.. not just chocolate !

A landmark in Regina for summertime, although it was minus 20 when it opened this year. Soft serve is to die for and the kids who serve there are always happy and friendly My favourite is the Cyclone and I usually am there a couple of times a week. Love Milky Way

Every year that I come to Regina- the whole family makes it a point to pay a visit to Milky Way- for their ice cream cream-- lots and lots of flavors

I have only been to Milky Way with my sister in law and I really loved the place. What a great experience. They even made a special bowl of ice cream for my dogs. Great job guys.

They went above and beyond for my daughter with allergies, they made this 4 yr olds day!!! She said they made her feel like everyone else....I greatly appreciated this!

Really love all the flavours! The wife and I live 1 hour outside of Regina and will drive just to have their ice cream. Wish they were open all year round!

I grew up a block away from the Milky Way. Loved it as a kid and now, 50 years later love it even more. All hail sprinkle dinkle!!
