Review Yummy Noodle - Red Deer

I haven't eaten here in about 3 years. I had a horrible meal back then. I decided to give it another shot today because if they are still open their food must have improved. I am glad I did. I had the ginger beef noodles. It was really delicious. Full of flavour and veggies. I recommend to give this place another chance.

Been going here for a long time before the new management. This place used to have lots of flavor and taste, but now under the new management, its bland tasting, like no seasoning. I ordered 3 different dishes and they tasted more or less the same.

Food was amazing staff were friendly and accommodating.

Stopped by Red Deer on our way back to Edmonton. Was looking for quick dinner and upon searches on Google, we decided to give this place a try. We ordered Spring Rolls, Mongolian Beef Noodles and Chicken Chow Mein. Everything was excellent, even our kids love them. I especially love their spring rolls, so delicious even after the next day (we had 1 leftover plus the chow mein). The co-owner (forgot to ask his name) is very nice and friendly. Will definitely pop in whenever we visit Red Deer next time.

Great food, prices and super friendly staff. They were so kind and accommodating to my needs. Fast service and great prices! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Favorite place for takeout. Order is right every time. Food gets to us quickly. We don't eat meat and they're really great for altering items to suit our diet.

I ordered the teriyaki chicken noodles and my boyfriend got the meat lovers noodle bowl, portions were a good size and the price was decent but we both found our dishes were very bland and flavourless. Probably wouldn't go here again. :(

I've been here MANY times. The price is affordable and the quality is great, everything is made to order fresh when you walk in your greeted with a smile and many choices of delectable dishes to eat.

Absolutely horrible experience. My two friends and I were starving and our usual go-tos were closed for the night. We decided to try this restaurant as we'd talked about noodles earlier. <br/><br/>We ordered two Pad Thai dishes and the Yummy Hot combo. Upon getting home, my friends dug in but were disgusted that their meals tasted like fish. I then tried mine, a different kind, and tasted fish too. <br/><br/>I called the restaurant who remembered me but was silent when I asked what she'd do to remedy the situation. Eventually she said nothing could be wrong with the food, EVERYONE else loves their food. I said maybe it was bad oil or a dirty pot. She said she'd give me half my money back. I said that wasn't okay because I had three meals that we're going straight in the garbage and still had three starving people. The owner then started yelling at me that she couldn't understand why we didn't like the food, everyone else does, and nothing was wrong with our meals. When I asked if she was calling me a liar, she promptly hung up on me.<br/><br/>Maybe it was just our dishes find the food is good usually. I'll never know because I don't stand for such rude customer service.

Very casual setting is the best kept takeout secret in Red Deer! Great food, fast prep, large portions at a fair price with many, many options to choose from.

Great food, Better then all the other wanna be shops that are similar to this place. prices are great! Food is delish. I'd go back and try everything off the menu

I haven't tried too many things on the menu. I love the Laksa soup and have bites of whatever my husband gets which have also all been great! It's more of a take out atmosphere and you are served with take out containers even if you dine in so be prepared for that.

Great bang for your buck. These guys work like dogs and keep smiling! Not much for sit in atmosphere, but great for quick lunch stop or take out. Good variety of stir fry dishes!

Not Pleased. I find the beef always tastes old or like it's been recooked after sitting for too long. I don't like it. <br/><br/>Also, the flavorings are a little off sometimes. Even the rice dishes area a bit bland.

Best Chinese in town. Best real chinese food in red deer, good prices, for a lot of food. It takes so time to get to you, but its worth it.

FAVOURITE CHINESE PLACE IN TOWN... Hardest working couple in Red Deer, and will make anything you request from any item they have on menu! Sometimes you wait a bit, but who cares.... This isn't McDonalds.

Dont do rice. The lemon chicken is amazing! it was a good portion but the fried rice isn't really good kind of gross really like three bits and i didn't want to eat anymore but all the noodles are good

Name says it all. You walk in there and they have this huge wall full of pictures. It's like, whoa man. But anyways, you have have have have have have have too many choices. I figured I would stick to something simple with noodles, since whenever a place is known for noodles or ribs. It's gotta be half decent or how can they stay in business? Am I right? Everything I have ever gotten here was amazing and would highly recommend this place to ALL my friends. I'm not being sarcastic go to this place and you won't regret it. Take yo kids too!

Always good!. Been a steady customer for years and have never seen a decline in quality of the food, everything on the menu is delicious! Menu doesn't specify spicy items, but you just need ask to find out (as well as for the take out boxes and menu mods, previous spooner complainerss). Staff is always on the ball and they put a lot of heart into their dishes. Will continue to eat here regularily!

Great bang for buck and open late!

Every time I go there they never every have BBQ pork bun. Probably won't go there evey again

What happened?. I ordered the 'Vegetable' noodle bowl and it literally had one mushroom, a half piece of zucchini, and a piece of broccoli. With a few small pieces of carrots and cabbage. Hardly any flavor and the wait was long but it wasn't even busy. I used to like it here but they must have changed owners or something. They don't even give you the cute little take out boxes anymore. Can you say cheap?

I must say I absolutely love Yummy Noodle. The food is a much more traditional flavor than most people are used to, so some might think it's greasy. The service is fantastic every time I go there. Big thumbs up.

Its Double Rainbow Delicious. I have eaten at Yummy Noodle many times and it has been awesome every time. The food is fresh and fast. Some of my favorites are the garlic prawn and the sambal chicken rice. The pork steam buns are good as well. Truly wonderful staff and service. The restaurant itself is clean and bright. I highly recommend this place to everyone :)<br/>Oh and I love the traditional take-out boxes!

Not what I expected. After reading the reviews about Yummy I was expecting more I guess, the inside is very dated for a new area or just poor design. The food is what did it for me I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl for about $9 and it was a greasy mess, there was an over powering burnt taste through the rice and some of the veg was burnt. At most Aisan take out places you can get a large portion of fried rice for $9 and this was about half of that in size so value is just not there. Can't say that I will return sorry.

Awesome customer service. Good job on the theme of this restaurant it looks good with the boxes everywhere feels like your in a take out in china very good job on that again !!!<br/>the food was priced at a fare price and the food was cooked to perfection i liked my hot box !!! delicous !!!! and the customer service was the best at this place every 5 minutes they kept askin us how our food was <br/>and that tells the customer they care !!! <br/>thank you to every one at yummy noodle <br/>and we will be back for sure for the yummy noodles !!!

Yucky noodle.....
